I've read all the other books in this series, and I've loved every single one of them, so I was really excited when the author announced this book! I then signed up for this Blog Tour and was really happy when I was picked to receive an ARC! I started my ARC as soon as I received it and this book only took me a few sittings to read! I couldn't put it down until I had finished it! The plot was also amazing! It started with a bang and then the suspense continued as the plot developed! There was also a bit of action in the plot too, which I loved! The romance between the two main characters was also seriously hot! There were quite a few seriously hot scenes too! I also love when a plot has suspense, action and romance in it, and this plot had it all, so it made it the perfect read for me! I also don't want to say too much about what actually happens in the plot as the synopsis doesn't tell you a lot, so I'm going to end it there before I write a spoiler lol, but I did enjoy the big twist! The characters were also amazing and I connected with them all the way through this book! Rose was the main female character, and in this book she was kidnapped and held against her will! My heart completely went out to Rose in this book because she was someone who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and just happened to be caught in the crossfire! Rose was such a strong character though, minus the few freak-outs, which were completely understandable lol, and she got stronger as this book progressed! I just admired Rose and I loved her a lot! She was so brave and came a long way in this book! Derek was the main male character and love interest of Rose! Not only was he seriously hot, but Derek was a hard-working and dedicated guy! He worked a very demanding job and he didn't complain about it, even though his job was very hard and emotional! Derek was also in such a predicament in this book! He felt like he was being pulled in two different directions, but he definitely made the right decision! I couldn't believe the predicament he was placed in, but my heart also went out to him because all Derek wanted was for his nephew to be better and healthy! This made me love Derek even more and I loved how protective he was of Rose too! I loved that this book was written from both Rose and Derek's point of views! I wasn't sure if it was going to be, but the other books in this series are written from two point of views, so I was hoping that this book was going to be! I loved that that it was written from both Rose and Derek's point of views because it added a lot to the suspense aspect of the plot and it also helped me connect more with the two characters too! I also really hope that the author continues to write some more books in this series because this series is my favourite from her, so I'd love more books! I also love the cover for this book! I loved it as soon as I saw it and the models on the front are the perfect Rose and Derek! I bet it's going to look stunning in paperback too!
