I was contacted by the UK publisher about this book and being on the UK Blog Tour for it, but I wasn't sure whether this book was my normal kind of read! I've read a few country books though and enjoyed them, so I decided to review this book for the UK Blog Tour! Plus, I really like the cover and the synopsis really intrigued me to want to read it! After reading this book, I can say that I liked it, but I didn't love it as much as I was expecting too! It took me quite a few chapters to get into and I found that the plot was a little confusing at some points! Because of this, I found myself re-reading some scenes because I got lost a few pages later lol! I did love this book more when the main female character's point of view came into it because things started to make more sense and I loved the main female character! The plot also developed at a slow pace and it didn't have any suspense or action in it, but it did have romance! It did take a lot of the book for the romance to fully happen, but it was built up brilliantly and kept me wanting to read on! I also love it when a book has some action and suspense in it, but I could understand why this book didn't! The characters were also amazing and I warmed up to them quickly! Blake was the main male character, and Blake was a guy that lived in a big city and had a city job, so he didn't really have a lot of experience with living in the country or living in a small town where everyone knew each other! Blake came a long way in a short time in this book, though, and he found himself enjoying living and helping out on a farm! He was also a very funny character, especially when he went on a rant lol! Natalie was the main female character, and she didn't take any crap from anyone lol! She stood up to Blake and she was so straight and didn't mess around with him, even though she felt some sort of attraction towards him and he intrigued her! She also stood up for herself towards other people too! Natalie was also easy for me to connect with and I found myself liking her more and more as this book progressed! I didn't really like that she kept secrets from Blake, but I could understand why she did! I also loved that this book was written from both Blake and Natalie's point of views! I was expecting it to be after I read the synopsis, but when I started reading, I wasn't sure if it was going to be because Natalie's point of view took quite a few chapters to come into it! I'm really happy it was written from both their point of views though because it made the plot more interesting and helped me connect more with the two characters! I read when I was checking this book out that it was the beginning of a series, but I actually thought that this book was a standalone when I was first told about it! I could see potential for a series, so I really hope it turns into one! The UK cover for this book suits is so well! It has that country theme to it, but it isn't too country! I love the US cover for this book too! It's very different to the UK cover, but it has a bit more of a country feel to it! Big thank you to Little, Brown Book Group for a review copy of Danger, Sweetheart and for having me on the UK Blog Tour!
