Release Day Blitz: The Break-Up Bet by Cat Carmine!


Never make a bet with a man who plays to win.

Especially not a man like handsome, arrogant Connor Pratt.

AKA the huge PITA who’s currently crashing in my spare room.

AKA my brother’s best friend since they were about six.

AKA the one guy who still makes me feel like an awkward tongue-tied loser.

But when Connor moved in, I got a glimpse of the potential softie inside. Because, like me, Connor’s going through a nasty break-up. And, like me, he’s just doing whatever he can to get through it.

Now, he says he’ll try my way of dealing with a break-up … but only if I agree to try his. Six months’ rent to whoever moves on first.

We call it the break-up bet. And I’m going to win. Except right now, it feels like there’s a whole lot more at stake than just rent money…

   My eyes widen at his words, the thought he’s put in it. “Fuck, Lang, when you put it like that, how can I say no?” I lean back, still fascinated by what’s in his hands.

It’s a little more sophisticated than some of the other ones will be.” I look at the leather dress, wondering what the others will look like. “Because we’re having dinner upstairs, we’ll dress a little more discreet, for tonight only.”
   With sleeves that come right below the elbows and a scoop neck, the dress does look more modest than most BDSM outfits I’d imagine would boast. It’s one hundred percent leather and will cling to me like a second skin. With strappy four-inch shoes in his hand, and black fishnet thigh-highs with a garter belt, I understand I’ll be going commando tonight.
