I loved the other books in this series a lot! I wasn't sure what to expect from them because I haven't read any of these authors books that they've written by themselves, so I wasn't sure of their writing styles and things like that! I couldn't wait to read this book though, so I was very excited when I received my ARC that I started reading it straightaway! I loved this book! It was darker than I thought it was going to be, but this allowed for a bit more action and suspense! These aspects added a lot to the plot and really fuelled the plot! There was also another big action and suspense scene near the end of the book too and this could have completely changed the direction of the plot! I did shed a few tears during the aftermath of the big scene because it was very emotional! There were some seriously hot scenes in this book between the two main characters too, and they were really, really hot! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Reagan was the main female character, and in this book she was in an relationship that she really shouldn't have been in! It had turned nasty, but yet she still defended the guy! I did wish that Reagan had just told the truth, but I could also understand why she didn't! She thought that the people closest to her would be disappointed in her! Reagan came a long way in this book though and definitely made the right choice lol! I just loved Reagan and she was very easy for me to connect with! She went through a lot in this book too, which made my heart go out to her! Linc was the main male character and love interest of Reagan! I loved Linc a lot in this book! He was seriously hot and he did make some stupid mistakes in this book, but he also tried his best to rectify them and make them right! I also loved Linc with Reagan! They made quite a team and loved winding the other characters up! It was also easy to see how much Linc loved Reagan, even when they were just friends! He had some deep love for her and was very affectionate and loving towards her! Linc was very protective of Reagan too, which was completely understandable! I loved that this book was written from both Reagan and Linc's point of views! The other books in this series were written from dual point of view, so I'm really happy that this book was too! It helped me connect more with both characters and allowed for more things to happen in the plot, especially because there were a few side stories! I'm also really sad that this book is the final book in this series! I was hoping that this series was going to continue for a few more books, but I can also understand why the authors decided to make it the last book! All the main characters have now had their stories told, so it makes sense to stop now lol and the epilogue was perfect! I really hope that these authors release more books together though because this series flowed brilliantly and had me hooked! I can't wait to check out these authors books that they've written themselves too! The cover for this book doesn't necessarily suit what happens in the book, but it does suit Reagan and Linc's relationship and I love it! Big thank you to K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield for an ARC of Thieves 2 Lovers and to Indiesage PR for having me on the Blog Tour!

Book Blitz & Giveaway: Got Mine [Men of Trance 01] by Nicole Loufas!

Excerpt!

Most of my parenting skills were derived from animated sitcoms and Adam Sandler movies. My father rarely made a special appearance in my life, so guys like Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin were my mentors. I’ve never strangled my daughter or attempted to run her over with a car, and yet, I’d still take second place to Homer for father of the year.
   Because one: I can’t afford a car.
And two: I don’t have a killer job in a nuclear facility that probably offers an excellent benefits package.
Fatherhood has been a learn-as-you-go experience for me. I can’t tell you how many times I wrapped my daughter in a t-shirt and plastic bag because I forgot to buy diapers. Or fed her fish-shaped crackers and apple juice for dinner. And maybe, just maybe, Lulu’s first word was shit.
   Could’ve been sit or spit.
Tonight, I’m upping my game. I’m going full Mike Brady. Minus the suit and tie.
   Minus clothes period.
If there is one thing television has taught me; it’s this:
   Good fathers make sacrifices.
Whether it’s giving up on your dream to play professional baseball or shaving all your body hair, good dads provide a better life for the people they love. Believe it or not, there are men in this world who put their children first. I’ve never actually met one of these unicorns, but I’m pretty sure they exist. If things work out with my new job; I’ll be shitting rainbows by the end of the month.
I turn off the shower, pull a towel from the silver bar on the wall, and perform a sniff test. I try to hit the laundry mat once a week, but when you have to decide between clean towels and eating; a case of ramen noodles wins every time.
The struggle is real; but it won’t last forever. One day I’ll have so many fresh fucking towels I’ll need a closet to hold them all.
   Goals.
   Goals are good.
   Clean towels are even better.

When his girlfriend joins the army; Theodore Sway is left to raise their daughter on his own. His shitty job barely covers the ever-rising cost of his San Francisco neighborhood. When Lulu is accepted at a hipster private school, Theo is forced to find a better job. He does what any good parent would – he becomes a stripper.

Theo sacrifices his ego, his morals, and his body hair so his daughter can have the kind of childhood he’s always dreamt about. With the encouragement of his not-so-helpful club brothers and Sylvie, his ex-stripper BFF, Sway struggles to maintain balance between his sexy stage persona and his role as the world’s okayest dad.

Cover Reveal & Giveaway: The Wild by K. Webster!

I brought them to the wilderness because we couldn’t cope with our reality.
The plan was to make a new life that didn’t include heartache.

No people. No technology. No interference.
Just us.
A chance to piece together what was broken.

But the wilderness is untamed and harsh.
Brutal and unforgiving.
It doesn’t give a damn about your feelings.

Tragedy lives there too.
No escaping the truths that won’t let you go.

All you can do is survive where love, no matter how beastly, is the only thing you can truly count on.

Confusing. Wrong. Twisted. Beautiful. Sick.

Love is wild.
And we’re going to set it free.

Blog Tour & Giveaway: Meet Me Under the Stars by K.D. Proctor!

Excerpt!

I drop a coffee pod into the machine. The water gurgles, eventually dripping into my mug. As it continues to brew, I tap my fingers against the granite countertop, giving sleeping Nate a glance over my shoulder. What in the world possessed him to not only get drunk but come here? I know he said he missed me, but of all places he wanted to be here? After how I ended things?
“Where the fuck am I?” Nate mumbles into the throw pillow.
“The cabin.” I take my mug off the coffee maker. Out of the corner of my eye, I catch him pushing himself up, but a second later he flops back down onto the throw pillows with a thud. He groans. “Oh my God, please shoot me. Put me out of my misery.”
“Nah. I just had the rugs cleaned.”
I finally look at him. My stomach does a swan dive right into my coffee mug. I not only missed cuddling with him, but I missed that. Hair standing up on end… light smattering of stubble on his cheeks… that tired look in his eyes that begs to stay in bed awhile longer, preferably wrapped up in cozy blankets with kisses in places that make me blush.
Christ on a cracker. I need to stop thinking about him like this or else I’m so screwed.
Not that I’d mind being screwed.
My cheeks grow warm, and I shake my head to clear away these dangerous thoughts. “Sleep well?”
   “No. What time is it?”
   “Almost nine.”
He shuffles to the barstools on the other side of the counter. I smirk. He’s wearing the same polo shirt he had on at the lawyer’s office, the one with the wonky collar that I still want to fix.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” He scratches his chest and stomach.
“Like what?” I reach behind me and hold up the mug silently asking if he wants a cup. He nods.
“With a look of You’re a shithead mixed with You fucking owe me.”
“That’s pretty accurate actually.” I sip my coffee, hoping he doesn’t notice me checking him out. The blue stripes of his polo shirt bring out the icy-blue in his eyes. Of all the guys I’ve dated, his eyes have always been my favorite.

When ratings for her popular DIY show start to circle the drain after the sudden death of her sister, Charlotte “Charlie” Conti has only one mission—to plan a comeback. But her sister had other plans. As part of the will, Charlie must work with *him* to create a memorial scholarship in her sister’s memory. The same *him* Charlie fell in love with three years ago while working at a summer camp.

The same *him* she dumped, to protect his heart.

Sexy, British player, Nate Walsh, has sixty days to find a new job or he’ll be deported back to England where he’s no longer welcome. He doesn’t have time to work on a memorial scholarship with *her*. The same *her* who shattered his heart without explanation or warning.

The same *her* he’s never gotten over.

Unable to agree on the specifics of the scholarship, Nate and Charlie challenge each other to a winner-takes-all competition. They both know the only way to win is to turn up the heat and tempt one another with the one thing they both want: each other. But as sparks fly, their true feelings resurface. Nate and Charlie must decide if their love is worth the effort and if they can overcome their disastrous past mistakes to spend forever together.

Blog Tour & Giveaway: Malentendido (Misunderstood) [Maldeamores 02] by Mara White!

Excerpt!

Four garbage bags full of old clothes and books for the Goodwill. I promised Mami I’d clean out my room so she can use it as a real guest room. I leave the boxes under my bed for last; they’re filled with letters and pictures, yearbooks and school notes from when I was a kid.
Every letter from Lucky that I ever received lies under this bed. I’m afraid to even touch them. Irma says it brings bad luck to touch things that belonged to the dead. So all I really end up doing is shuffling the boxes around, dumping some half-filled ones into others to consolidate the mess. I’m emptying one when a letter floats to the floor. Lucky’s handwriting. His words. My heart and all of my skin immediately catch fire.
I stare at it without breathing for what seems like an eternity’s worth of cascading memories scrolling through my mind. I pick up Lucky’s words with a trembling hand and hold the yellowed paper to my heart first before raising it to my eyes.
Belén,

You got me chewed up and spit out, girl. I can’t do this anymore. I’m twisted and fucked up, thinking about you more than is normal.
So what if I’m lit, who gives a fuck if I’m violent? Ese dolor is filling up inside me, sometimes spilling out and taking prisoners wherever it can find ’em. I’ve fucked people up for less than looking at you the wrong way. I can’t live my life like this. But I can’t stay away.
See, part of me wants to run and hide and take back everything we ever done, but there’s another side that won’t quit—that ain’t afraid of no shade they throw or no one.
Anybody would say that me and you ain’t right, that it’s evil—that we holding hands with the diablo mismo, going against God and what’s natural. I been around long enough to know that what I feel for you is real. People don’t get to feel that way, shit, sometimes never in their lives, so even if it’s wrong, I still want it—whatever it is that we got.
I know I’ll never give this to you. You got enough to deal with—y no quiero meterte en esa vaina. But still, for some reason, I need you to know how I feel about you.
Course we always been tight, you always been a mi lado far back as I can remember. Fuck. Then one day it changed and there was no going back from where my mind had taken me, from where my body was going. My feelings were moving forward no matter how much it cost me. Like the bridge done fell all the way down and there ain’t no going back across that water.
Sometimes I’m so lost, sometimes I get so fucking angry. And there’s nothing in this world that can soothe me ’cept the sound of your voice or the way that you touch me.
It’s like there’s a war taking place and the battleground is my life—there’s two sides to me, and all they ever do is fight.
Bey, I’m not a bad guy, it’s just that nobody gets me. I swear to fucking God. I’d do right by you if someday you’d let me.
   No soy malo, sólo malentendido.
But you set that straight, Belén, you douse out the fire.
Ain’t shit in this world that can touch me when I know that you love me.

   Lucky
I don’t remember reading this note and I wonder if I was supposed to, or if it was left here by accident. Maybe Mami found it and put it with my things. Maybe it’s been waiting here this whole time for the exact moment when my eyes would finally be ready to see it.
The bowl of milky, honeyed water fits right next to his photo. I light the white candle and with its flame, burn the note. I want to break the tether and set Luciano’s spirit free. He shouldn’t be chained to my memories, my need to hold onto the pain. God gave me a son and Luke is more than enough; I’m grateful. I’ve got to let go.
Lucky and I ignite one another’s hearts and I’m the only one left to put out the fire.
The flames lick higher and graze my fingertips, sending sharp bites of heat and singing the baby hairs on my wrist. I plunge the flaming letter into the bowl of goat milk and honey.
Go free, Luciano. You don’t belong to me.
My Lucky, born with fire on his heart, gave me the most exhilarating love for the first twenty years of my life. But it’s not fair to him, my husband or my son, for me to keep holding on to this so fiercely, clutching what’s now and forever left me.
   Goodbye, Luciano.
   My love spells didn’t work.

Whatever force made Lucky, either God or the Universe, wrapped him so tightly around my heart that sometimes I’m suffocating.

Biologically, we are made of too many similar parts, yet our chemistry is like a meteor shower, raining bright sparks of light into the dark night.

But it’s not our biology or chemistry that worries me the most, it’s the physics of our love that goes against the cosmos.

Blog Tour: Firefly [Redemption 02] by Molly McAdams!

Excerpt!

“Nothing’s getting past me,” I assured her.
Her breath washed over my lips as I leaned in to kiss her again when she whispered, “I thought we were talking about you.”
I paused for a few seconds, then looked up into her hazel eyes. “What?”
“I think I’m in danger from you.”
My brow pulled tight, and I forced out a low, frustrated laugh. “Me.”
She nodded again, the movement of her head so slow as her eyes explored mine. “I need you to let me go for so many reasons, but I easily forget why when you don’t. I think there was a reason neither of us crossed that invisible barrier before today. Because being in your arms?” She hesitated, her tongue quickly darting out to wet her lips. “Trust me, it’s dangerous.”
A weight pressed down on my chest, making it hard to breathe. Because damn it if she wasn’t right.
There were dozens of girls over the years who’d meant nothing more than a night. Maybe two. Not one could I remember the name of, most I couldn’t remember their face.
Then there’d been one who I would’ve sold my soul for if I could’ve had one more night with her.
My days with her had been everything. A slow burn that had built over time until I hadn’t been able to get enough of her. Until she’d meant too much.
And there hadn’t been a girl since.
Not a second glance. Not a thought. Nothing.
Until one morning at Brooks a few years ago.
But there was nothing slow about the thoughts and needs for the girl pressed against me. There hadn’t been since the very first morning I’d found her staring at a mirror like it had the power to destroy her world. Like that possibility fascinated her.
Fuck, if I didn’t need to find out why.
Dangerous was exactly what we were. Only she had no idea just how much.
My gut twisted as unwanted thoughts entered my mind, but I pushed them away. Because I knew what I needed to do. I needed to let her go and force myself not to follow.
But when there’s a flicker of light in your life after so much darkness, it’s impossible to stay away.
And this girl burned so damn bright.
Calling to me and beckoning me toward her, and I knew no matter how many times I let her slip away, I would follow her just to catch her again.
I brushed my thumb across her full lips. “Goddamn firefly.”

The next captivating installment in New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams’s Redemption series.

As the Princess of the Irish-American Mob, there’s no shortage of men ready to help guard and protect me. To slowly suffocate me to the point of seeking freedom—a place where I can breathe.

Kieran Hayes has been saving me for as long as I can remember. It’s in his blood, and one of the many reasons I fell in love with him. Until my favorite trait became his biggest flaw, making me resent the man I love. An unwavering warrior, his love for me has been shrouded by those instincts.

Save Lily. Protect Lily. Hide Lily. Cage Lily.

What I wasn’t prepared for was Dare—the man who would set my world on fire with just one touch. He saw straight through to my soul, as though he knew I was desperate for freedom, and silently demanded my heart from the beginning.

And I didn’t expect Dare to be Demitri Borello—the reason for so many deaths in my family. A man who will take my life the moment he finds out who I am.

Despite it all, I’ll love him until that moment comes.

A fire will die if there is no oxygen for it to consume. Ours is rapidly stealing every last breath we can sacrifice to it.
