Blog Tour & Giveaway: Sins of the Father by Jamie Canosa!

Publication date: 6th February 2016
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 5 stars
Synopsis: Monsters exist. Not in closets or under the bed, but within each of us. And sometimes . . . they win.

Kidnapped. Confused. Afraid.
Ophelia wakes up to find herself an unwilling pawn in a plot for revenge.

Pain. Blood. Loyalty.
These things bind Sawyer to a promise he struggles to keep.

Sawyer doesn't want to hurt Ophelia. Ophelia doesn't want to be hurt. But some things are unavoidable. What happens when trust is broken? What happens when fear and love collide?

Hearts get broken and lives get shattered when the Sins of the Father are brought to bear.

I've read all this author's books that are released, and I'm such a big fan of hers! When she contacted me about this book, I knew I wanted to read it! The synopsis drew me right in and I really wanted to find out more, so I signed up to review it for the Blog Tour! The cover is also stunning! I started my ARC as soon as I received it, and finished the book the next day! I honestly couldn't put it down and I found myself reading more every chance I got! It only took me a few sittings to read as well! The plot was also sad and a horrible and difficult situation, but it was enlightening at times too! The characters also went through a lot and there was a lot of realisation in the plot for them all! The plot also had quite a few twist and turns in it! There was one twist near the end that I didn't see coming at all! It really could have changed the outcome of the plot! Overall, I just loved the plot and this book may actually be one of my top favourite books from this author! The characters were also amazing and totally made the plot for me! Ophelia 'Fi' was the main female character, and she was so brave in this book! I mean, she was kidnapped by strangers and held against her will as part of a revenge plot! She had also been through a horrible, horrible experience before she was kidnapped! I actually got a lump in throat as I was reading what she went through! It really was disgusting! Fi's family also didn't really care about her, which was very upsetting! All of this made me respect Fi a lot and love her that little bit more! She was a very strong character and she was easy for me to connect with too! I just loved her and she came such a long way in this book! Sawyer was the main male character, and he had also been through a lot! He maybe hadn't been through the same horrible experience as Fi, but he had experienced excruciating pain and loss! My heart completely went out to him for what he had been through! Sawyer was a very loving character as well! He tried to do the best he could for Fi considering the circumstances they were in, and he was very protective of her too! You could also see that he really didn't want anything to do with Fi's kidnapping, but he had to be a part of it to find out information! Sawyer was seriously hot too, and I loved him with Fi! He was so loving with her, and his feelings for her grew a lot as the plot progressed! I loved that this book was written from both Fi and Sawyer's point of views! I wasn't sure if it was going to be, but I'm really happy it was! It made the plot even better and it helped me connect more with both characters! I can completely understand why this book is a standalone! Everything in the plot was wrapped up and all the questions raised were answered! I loved his book though, so I'm sad that it's a standalone, but the ending was left at the perfect place! I can't wait to see what this author is going to release next as well! I'm definitely going to be reading it when it releases! The cover for this book is stunning! It suits the book perfectly and you don't realise how perfectly until after you read it! Big thank you to Jamie for an ARC of Sins of the Father and for having me on the Blog Tour!
