Synopsis: Never disobey the court.

Never disobey the crown.

And never tame that vicious heart.

In A Vow of Thorns, sacred laws are broken when a beauty holds an iron heart.

The synopsis of this book tells you nothing lol, so I had very little idea as to what could happen in this book! I mean, I was able to sort of think of some ideas because of what happened in the last book, but I didn't want to think too much into it so that I could enjoy where the author took the plot! I also loved the first two books in this series, so I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next for the characters! After reading, I can say that I loved this book just as much as the first two books! I was sucked in right from the first page and it only took me a few sittings to read! I'll admit that I did have to go back and re-read the last chapter to the second book just to remind me of where it ended, but it was worth the quick re-read because it set this book up perfectly! The plot also developed at the perfect pace and it had some tense scenes in it! My heart was in my mouth at a few scenes and There were a few twist and turns in the plot too and some very, very hot scenes! The characters were again amazing and made this book even better! Molly was the main female character, and in this book she was dealing with a lot along with her love interest! Molly had also changed a lot from the girl introduced at the beginning of the first book! She really did grow claws lol! Molly also matured a lot and was more confident and sure of herself! I loved Molly a lot in this book and I loved how she supported her love interest! She was always there for him and she kept him grounded and reminded him of what was important and she helped him make the right decisions! Tensley was again the main male character and love interest of Molly! I felt really sorry for Tensley in this book because he had a lot on his plate and was trying his best to juggle everything and still keep Molly his main priority! Tensley also had to make some big decisions in this book and it had a big impact on him and Molly! Tensley also tried his best with the situation that he was in and I did have a lot of respect for him in this book! He had also grown a lot from the first book and it was easy to see how deep his feelings for Molly were! He was very protective of her too! I loved that this book was written from both Molly and Tensley's point of views! I was expecting it to be as the first two books were co-written, but I'm really happy that this book was too! It helped me connect more with both characters and it allowed for more things to happen in the plot! I also mentioned this in my other reviews, but I normally don't like books being written in third person, but I actually enjoy this series being written from this perspective! It added something extra and I was always able to overlook it lol! I thought that this book was the final book in the series, but there's no way it can be! The ending definitely left it open for more things to happen and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next for the characters! I'll be on pins and needles for the next book! The cover for this book also suits it perfectly! I love the covers for the first and second book a lot, so I was hoping that this cover was going to live up to those covers and it definitely does! Big thank you to R. Scarlett and Between the Sheets Promotions for an ARC of A Vow of Thorns!

Author bio:

R. Scarlett lives in a small quaint town in Southern Ontario, Canada and has an unhealthy obsession with mythology and romance.

From studying English literature and minoring in History, she loves losing herself in a good book and snuggling up to her Brittany Spaniel. When she's not writing or plotting a delicious novel, she can be found hanging out with friends and family, going on long car rides, exploring small towns, or watching reruns of Sex and the City.
