I read the first three books in this series a few months ago and I was very excited to read this book because the third book was left at a serious cliffhanger! I signed up for a ARC of this book as soon as I saw signups and squealed when I received it! I started reading this book as soon as I received it and it only took me a few sittings to read because I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished it! The plot developed at the perfect pace and it kept me hooked! I loved the way it developed and the romance was beautifully written! It made me fall in love with the characters and allowed for a few hot scenes! There was also a bit of suspense in the plot as well as some action! These scenes added a lot to the plot and made me enjoy it more! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Emo was the main male character, and I was really excited to read Emo’s story because he was such an intriguing character in the other books and I couldn’t want to get inside his head! I felt for Emo in this book because he did go through a lot and he carried a lot of guilt! He came a long way in this book though and was able to open up more, especially with the help of his love interest! It was easy to see how much he cared about his love interest and he was fiercely protective of her too! Rella was the main female character and love interest of Emo! I actually thought that someone else was going to be the love interest of Emo until the end of the last book! I loved that Rella was back in this book because she was loved by a lot of people and they were all shocked but excited to see her! I loved Rella in this book and my heart went out to her! She had been through a lot and it had a big impact on her! Rella was very strong though and came a long way in this book! I loved that this book was written from both Emo and Rella’s point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because the other books in the series have been written from dual point of view, so I’m really happy that this one was too! It helped me connect and understand Emo and Rella more and it allowed for more things to happen in the plot, especially as both characters were going through their own situations and were dealing with a lot of emotions, so it made sense for this book to have been written from both characters point of views! I’m really, really sad that this book is the final book in the series! I’ve loved every second of reading this series and I’m sad to say goodbye to the characters! It's fair to say that I was really excited when I got to the end of this book and it said that there’s going to be a prequel series releasing next year! I can’t wait for it to release and I’ll definitely be reading it as soon as it does! I can’t wait to check out this author’s other books too! The cover for this book is also absolutely perfect for it! I loved it as soon as I saw it and it suits the story and the other covers in the series!
