I was approached by the author to help her with this book as I live in Scotland and that's where the book was set, so the author asked me what we call certain things and how we phrase sentences and things like that! I was more than happy to help as I completely adore this author! Plus, it meant I got to read this book early lol! I loved this book! I read it in such a short space of time that even I couldn't believe it lol! I was so immersed in the plot! I mean, the plot was amazing! There was loads of action and suspense in it and it kept me hooked! I couldn't wait to read on and find out what was going to happen next and how everything was going to develop! There was also romance in it, and it was so beautiful! It also developed slowly, which I loved! The plot was just amazing and there was plenty of action, suspense and romance to keep me hooked! The characters were also amazing! Aiden was the main male character, and I can't remember if he appeared in the other books in this series as a secondary character, but I'm almost positive he did lol! Even if he didn't appear in the second book, I'm sure he appeared in the first book! I loved Aiden! He was such a gentleman and I could see that he had deep feelings for his love interest, but that he didn't want to act on those feelings because of the circumstances surrounding how he met her and the job he was there to do! That made me have a lot of respect for him! Aiden was also seriously hot and he was really protective of his love interest, Airen, too! I just loved him, and I hope he maybe makes an appearance in the next book! Airen was the main female character, and I loved her in this book! She was thrust into the danger because of who her family where, which made me feel really sorry for her! Airen was so confused in this book as well, as things were hid from her and she was kept in the dark a lot! It was all to protect her though, as the more she knew, the more danger she would be in! Airen was determined to help anyway she could though and she did again and again as the book progressed! Airen was easy for me to connect with too, and I could see that she would do anything to protect her family and the people she loved! I loved that this book was written from both Aiden and Airen's point of views! It made the plot even better and I loved getting to see their feelings for each other develop through both of their eyes! I can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's probably not going to be about Aiden and Airen and that it's going to be about another couple, but I still can't wait to read it! I'll definetely be reading it as soon as it releases! The cover for this book is different to what I expected, but then I didn't really have an image of what it could look like in my head lol! Sonya Loveday, first and foremost is a reader, an avid one. It is of that love that brought her to purchasing her first laptop in 2009, and publishing her first novel, Casted, in 2013.

In early 2014, Sonya expanded Casted and then went on to publish Spelled, the sequel to Casted in March, wrapping up the series, and her stint with Paranormal Romance. For now.

I loved every single one of this author's other contemporary reads, so when I heard about this one, I knew I had to read it ASAP! I didn't care what it was about or what the cover looked like lol! It sounds amazing and has a seriously hot cover though, so of course it sealed the deal even more that I was going to read it lol! I loved this book! I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down until I had finished it! It was packed full of action and suspense! It had plenty of romance in it too, and there were some seriously, seriously hot scenes! The plot was amazing! It just got better and better as it progressed and I couldn't stop reading it! I was hooked and I always wanted to see how everything was going to progress! I also have to admit that the last 20% of this book was my favourite! It was the part that the mystery was coming to a close, so it was quite tense and went in such a good and unexpected direction! I just loved it! The characters were also amazing! Jason was the main male character, and he was seriously hot! And I mean, he was smoking hot! He may just be the hottest male character from this author's books lol! And trust me, that's hard lol! I mean, I loved Jason! He was always focused on the job he had to do and the person he had to find! Well, until his love interest came along lol! Jason had been through a lot in this life and he had experienced loss that was very sad and affected him a lot! He was a guy that kept going though and he had a good job and a good life! Jason was also very protective of his love interest, Aylee, and I could see that he really loved her! He proved this again and again in this book, which was very hot at times lol! Aylee was the main female character, and she was kick-ass! She could hold her own and she totally owned Jason at several points in this book, which made me laugh because he wasn't expecting it lol! Like Jason, Aylee was focused on the task she had to do, which made her and Jason a good team! Aylee had also been through a lot in her childhood, which made her want to work herself and keep herself to herself, but she started to relax and let herself go with Jason as the book progressed, which I loved! She came a long way in this book and she learned a lot! I just loved her and she was easy for me to connect with! I loved that this book was written from both Jason and Aylee's point of views! It helped me connect more with the two characters and it really added to the mystery aspect! I can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's not going to be about Jason and Aylee and that it's going to be about other characters, but this has made me even more excited to read it! The cover for this book is seriously hot and suits it perfectly! You realise how well it suits it after you read the book! The model on the front is the perfect Jason too! Big thank you to L.P.    Through the glass partition, she watched the line of patients being paraded into the room, trying to pick out Spencer’s face in the crowd. She hadn’t seen him since he became a patient and wondered how much he had changed. Would he be thinner? Unshaven? Healthy? Longing to see him, just a glimpse, always threatened to consume her whenever she came here, but as with the last four visits, Spencer hadn’t shown.

   With only a week left to go in his treatment, she wondered where he planned to go when he got out. Did he have someone ready to take him in? Not knowing filled her with worry.

   Damn him. Why did he keep shutting her out? He knew she was there, knew she wanted to see him, to talk to him, to offer whatever support she could, and he never showed. Not once. All around her, families reunited, and she sat alone. The orderlies probably pitied her by now, the girl who kept coming, even though she clearly wasn’t wanted.

   With a heavy heart, Olivia looped her purse over her shoulder and walked out.
