Book Blitz & Giveaway: Biker Baby [Kings of Mayhem MC 03] by Penny Dee!

I was about to make a huge mistake.
And when I say huge, I mean, approximately ten inches’ worth of mistake.
But after the week I’d had, this was just what I needed. A night of big bad mistakes with a big bad biker.

Honey Scott
Finding out your boyfriend is a cheating loser is a real buzz kill. Finding out you’re actually the other woman, is devastating. Call it temporary insanity, but I decide the best way to get over the loser I’d dated for two years is to get under a biker with tattoos, dimples and a hard body he knows how to use.
He’s going to make everything better with numerous mind-blowing orgasms. But just for one night.
Except one faulty condom means my one-night stand isn’t so one-night after all.

Caleb Calley
After a night of insane sex, the beautiful blue-eyed brunette gave me the slip. And even with all the women on offer afterwards, I can’t get her off my mind. So when she turns up at the Kings of Mayhem MC compound I’m quick to give her a second night of amazing sex and crazy orgasms. But this time, I’m not ready to let her go.
There’s just one problem— she’s not interested.
But if she thinks she’s going to give me the slip again, then she’s got another thing coming. I know she is keeping a secret from me but I don’t care what it is. I want her and I’m going to make her mine.

Biker Baby, book three in the Kings of Mayhem MC series.

Please note: you must be 18+ to read and due to the content there may be triggers.

Blog Tour & Giveaway: The Perfect Dress by Carolyn Brown!

Publication date: 16th April 2019
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 4 stars
Synopsis: A plus-size Texas gal has designs on an old crush in New York Times bestselling author Carolyn Brown’s exuberant, bighearted romance.

In the small town of Celeste, Texas, Mitzi Taylor has never quite fit inside the lines. Nearly six feet tall, flame-haired, and with a plus-size spirit to match every curve, she’s found her niche: a custom wedding-dress boutique catering to big brides-to-be with big dreams. Taking the plunge alongside her two best friends, she’s proud they’ve turned The Perfect Dress into a perfect success.

Just when Mitzi has it all pulled together, Graham Harrison walks back into her life, looking for bridesmaid dresses for his twin daughters. A still-strapping jock whose every gorgeous, towering inch smells like aftershave, the star of all Mitzi’s high school dreams is causing quite a flush.

For Mitzi, all it takes is a touch to feel sparks flitting around her like fireflies. She can just imagine what a kiss could do. Graham’s feeling it, too. And he’s about to make that imagination of Mitzi’s run wild. Is it just a hot summer fling, or are Mitzi’s next designs for herself and seeing her own dreams come true?

I have to be honest and say that I hadn't heard of this author or this book until the publisher approached me about being on the Blog Tour! The book didn't exactly sound like something I would read, but it's good to read outside your comfort zone sometimes! I started reading this book as soon as I could, and after reading, I have to say that I liked the plot and I loved the different storylines! This book focused on three women and it told all three of their stories, which I really enjoyed! I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did, but it flowed perfectly and kept me intrigued and wanting to read on and find out what was going to happen next for each of the women! There were a few twists in the plot and some funny moments too! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! The main character was mostly Mitzi, but there were other main female characters as well e.g. Jody and Paula! I liked all three women a lot in this book! They all worked hard in their business and wanted to make it as successful as possible! They were always there for each other too and tried their best to support each other! I loved their friendship and how they were always there to talk through something and spent a lot of time together! Graham was the main male character and love interest of Mitzi! I admired Graham a lot in this book because he looked after his twin teenage girls and he worked hard to provide for them all! He also loved his girls for the way they were and he didn't try and change them! It was also easy to see that Graham still had feelings for Mitzi, but he didn't rush anything with her and wanted to make sure that they were both ready! I also liked how he handled his ex-wife! This book was mainly written from both Mitzi and Graham's point of views! I really enjoyed that it was because it helped me connect and understand both characters more and it allowed for a few more things to happen in the plot, especially as they spent a bit of the book apart! There were also other characters point of views in this book too, which I liked because it helped me connect more with them too! This book was also written in third person, which I have to be honest and say that I really didn't like! I wasn't sure if it was going to be written from third person before I started reading, and I've read a few books written in third person and enjoyed them, but it actually made it harder for me to read this book because there were quite a few other characters and it all started to blend together at times! I can also completely understand why this book is a standalone! I'm really sad that it is because I really liked all the characters and I would love to read more on them, but the ending did sum up all their stories and was left at the perfect place! The cover for this book is also perfect for it! It really suits the book and represents the book very well! I love it a lot and The title for this book is perfect too and it does make more sense in a way after you read the book! Big thank you to Carolyn and Netgalley for an ARC of The Perfect Dress and to Montlake Romance for having me on the Blog Tour!

Cover Reveal: The Lighthouse by Leslie McAdam!

While I’ve managed to stay “pure” ...
Things are about to get dirty.
Just not the way you think.

You see, there was a mudslide.
I was chasing the perfect photograph one minute.
And then strong hands were pulling me out of the mud the next.

Those hands were attached to handsome Theo Magruder.
Those hands awaken urges that I've never felt before.
Those hands make me want to hand over my V-card without question.

Well, to be fair, it’s not just his hands.
He's the most attractive man I've ever met.
With mesmerizing eyes
And a hard, muscled body that makes me tingle all over when we touch.
And he’s damn romantic—
Treating me gently,
Like I’m a wounded deer who needs shelter as the storm gathers around us.

Living at a lighthouse in the boonies, he’s used to being the only one around for miles.
I’m not.

The thing is, I’ve told him the truth—
I’m in the area because I’m an actress.
But he doesn't know I’m a star.

And as it turns out, I'm not the only one with secrets.

Leslie McAdam is a California girl who loves romance, Little Dude, and well-defined abs. She lives in a drafty old farmhouse on a small orange tree farm in Southern California with her husband and two small children. Leslie always encourages her kids to be themselves - even if it means letting her daughter wear leopard print from head to toe. An avirectreader from a young age, she will always trade watching TV for reading a book, unless it's Top Gear. Or football. Leslie is employed by day but spends her nights writing about the men you fantasize about. She's unapologetically sarcastic and notoriously terrible at comma placement.

Always up for a laugh, Leslie tries to see humor in all things. When she's not in the writing cave you'll find her fangirling over Beck, camping with her family, or mixing up oil paints to depict her love of outdoors on canvas.

Blog Tour: Praying for Rain [Praying for Rain Trilogy 01] by BB Easton!

Excerpt!

Just like in my nightmare, her touch is all it takes for me to lose complete control—of the situation, of my willpower, of my own damn body. Instead of giving her a swat on the ass and sending her home like I know I should, I watch like a prisoner in my own mind as my arms wrap around her tiny shoulders and pull her in closer.
No! What the fuck are you doing, pussy? Cut her loose!
I scream at myself, call myself every name in the book, but the voice in my head is drowned out by the euphoric rush I get from holding this girl. She coils my shirt in both fists. Burrows her face into my neck. Her breath comes in short, hot bursts as she giggles against my skin. Her nose is cold. And all I can do is watch in humiliation as the meat puppet I live inside of tips its face down and smells her fucking hair.
   Oh my God, you’re pathetic.
Sugar cookies. She laughs like a farm animal. She looks like a discarded porcelain doll that raided a teenage boy’s closet. And she smells like fucking sugar cookies.
Let her go, dipshit! Supplies! Shelter!
   Self-defense! That’s what you need!
But the warning falls on deaf ears because now my stupid fucking cock has gone rogue, too. Why not? Nothing else is listening to me. It springs to life and rams itself into my zipper, seeking Rain’s attention as well. I take a small step back, just enough to keep from shoving my hard-on into her belly like a full-fledged creep, but she responds to my step back with one of her own.
   And that’s it.
   The moment is over.
   The laughter is gone.
We drop our arms, and we begin walking.

“None of this matters, and we’re all going to die.”

With only three days left until the predicted apocalypse, the small town of Franklin Springs, Georgia, has become a wasteland of abandoned cars, abandoned homes, abandoned businesses, and abandoned people. People like Rainbow Williams.

Rain isn’t afraid of dying. In fact, she’s looking forward to it. If she can just outrun her pain until April 23, she’ll never have to feel it at all.

Wes Parker has survived every horrible thing this life has thrown at him with nothing more than his resourcefulness and disarming good looks. Why should the end of the world be any different? All he needs are some basic supplies, shelter, and a sucker willing to help him out, which is exactly what he finds when he returns to his hometown of Franklin Springs.

As society crumbles, dangers mount, and secrets refuse to stay buried, two lost souls are thrust together in a twist of fate—one who will do anything to survive and one who can’t wait to die.

Perhaps, together, they can learn how to live.
Before their time runs out.

Release Day Blitz & Giveaway: Pretty Thing by J.A. Huss!

My best friend made damn sure I knew the rules. His sister was strictly off limits.
UNTIL NOW.

KALI

Growing up it was always the three of us. Me, my twin brother, Kyle, and our best friend, Aiden. We were inseparable all the way through high school.

Did I picture myself with Aiden from the first moment I laid eyes on him back when we were eight? Hell. Yes. I fell in love with his soul that day. But he was always more Kyle’s friend than mine. And Kyle made damn sure we both know the rules.

I was strictly off limits. Forever.

But now Kyle is gone. Dead from a freak accident. And Aiden is still here. Looking hot as hell in his grown-up body. Looking sexy AF with those tattoos all over his muscular chest. Sad and in need of comfort. Just like me.

AIDEN

Every time Kyle caught me lusting after his twin sister, Kali, he reminded me of the rule. “You were my friend first.”

If you want to get technical about it, I was Kali’s friend first, not Kyle’s. But that’s not how he saw it. One rule. That’s all we had between us. Just one. Stay away from my sister.
All these years I’ve honored that. I never broke his trust. Until now. Because he’s dead. He left us. And being with Kali is the only thing that makes the pain go away.

I want Kali. I want to marry her, and have kids with her, and keep her in my bed forever.

But I want Kyle’s blessing too. And that’s something I’ll never get.

Book Blitz & Giveaway: Eighty-One Nights [Beautiful Illusions Duet 01] by Georgia Cates!

Excerpt!

   Maxwell Hutcheson.
He’s tall and fit. Very fit. And the suit that he’s wearing looks killer on him. He’s nothing like what I had pictured in my head when I imagined my first client. This is not what I was dreading.
Dark hair. Light eyes, pale blue I think, but it’s dark in here so I can’t tell for sure. What I do know is that he is one of the handsomest men that I’ve ever seen. And I don’t understand what he’s doing at an Inamorata gala.
I snap back into the present and realize that I’m sitting across from him, staring at his face. It’s as though I’ve forgotten all of my training.
I lower my eyes and face, hoping that he won’t see the heat in my cheeks. I should probably apologize for staring, but there’s no tactful way of telling him that I’m dumbfounded because he isn’t a troll or old enough to be my grandfather.
I don’t get it. Why in the world would this man need a paid companion? Surely women flock to him.
I recall the reasons why many of our clients use our services. They’re busy businessmen, often too engaged in their jobs to have time for dating. That must be it because there’s no way this man would have a hard time finding a woman who was interested in him.
“Cora tells me that you’re brand new. You’ve never had a client?”
His accent is heavily Scottish. You’d think that I would have gotten over hearing it after living in Edinburgh for six years, but the truth is that I still find it sexy as sin.
I look up and smile when my eyes meet his. Yes, I’ve decided that they are pale blue. And kind. I don’t see judgment in them as I am certain that he is analyzing me and my decision to be an inamorata. I believe that you can see into the soul of a person through his or her eyes. Thoughts. Intent. Opinion. The simplicity in their expression tells a story. It says more than any words they could possibly speak.
The lines around the corners of his eyes. The creases around his mouth beneath his facial scruff. The furrows across his forehead. All of these distinct contours mean that he smiles often, and when he does, it spreads over his entire face.
“Tonight is my coming out, I guess you could say.”
“Then I’ve met you at the perfect time.”
   “The perfect time for…?”
He hesitates and his uneasiness is a visible mask upon his face. “I want to be transparent with you about what has happened in my life. I need you to understand why I have specific… needs.”

Beautiful, penniless American girl meets handsome, wealthy Scotsman.
Sounds like the beginning of a fairy-tale romance?
It’s not.

This story begins with a contract.
And an exchange of money.
A lot of money.

An angel perches nervously on one shoulder.
A devil lounges smugly on my other.
And even that dark little bastard is leery of what I’m doing.

Maxwell Hutcheson wants the girlfriend experience.
All of it.
And I’m going to give it to him.

I’m not supposed to enjoy being his whore.
I’m also not supposed to fall in love with him.
But I do. Both.

When our contract expires, I will walk away.
Because I have to.
But he’ll always have a piece of me.

I’ll mask my sorrow with a smile.
I’ll hide my love with indifference
… all while it’s killing me softly.

A fairy-tale romance.
It isn’t mine to have.
And this man I’ve come to love so dearly isn’t my happily ever after.

About Eighty-One Nights:
While the characters from Eighty-One Nights are entirely new, their storyline is a combination of fresh material and carefully selected themes, scenes, and settings from The Beauty Series, The Sin Trilogy, Dear Agony, and Indulge. This is intentional. I chose some of my favorite elements from previous releases and interjected them into Hutch and Lou’s story. Let’s call it a “story fusion” between our old favorites and new material. This work was briefly released under a pen name and was titled The Girlfriend Experience.
