I love this author's other books that I've read, so I was really excited when I heard about this book! It sounded amazing and then I saw the cover, whihc totally sealed the deal that I was going to read it! I freaking loved this book! It actually exceeded my expectations, and trust me, I had high expectations for it lol! I also don't read werewolf books a lot, so I was looking forward to hopefully find a book that would make me fall head over heels in love with them again lol! This book totally did! I just loved it and the plot got better and better as it progressed! The plot also developed at the perfect pace! It had some action and suspense in it, and it had plenty of romance too! I was always desperate to read on and I read this book in a few sittings! I had such a hard time putting it down and I just absolutely loved it! It was amazing and had me hooked! It also had some seriously hot scenes in it! The characters were also amazing! Bailey was the main female character, and she went through a lot in this book! She was an alpha female werewolf, which was rare in the werewolf world, but she discovered that she had been lied too for most of her life and she also had decisions made for her that should never have been made for her! Bailey came a long way in this book though and she grew a lot as a character! She also had a kick-ass and sassy attitude about her that I loved! She could also handle herself brilliantly and would do anything to protect the people she loved! She was just a brilliant main female character! Ryker was the main male character and love interest of Bailey! I loved Ryker from the first moment he was introduced in this book! There was just something about him that I loved! As the book progressed, I found out exactly what that was! Ryker was very protective of Bailey, and he had some insane amount of love for her that had progressed further over the years! It was very beautiful to read! Ryker was also seriously hot and was such an alpha male! He always put Bailey ahead of himself and was honest and upfront with her about everything that she had been lied too about and the things that had been hidden from her! I loved that this book was written from both Ryker and Bailey's point of views! It made the plot even better and it helped me connect even more with both characters! I also can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's not going to continue Ryker and Bailey's story, and that it's going to be about a secondary character from this book, but that's made me even more excited to read it! I'll definitely be anticipating its release and reading it as soon as it releases! The cover for this book is absolutely stunning and suits the book perfectly! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, and the models on the front are an awesome Ryker and Bailey! Big thank you to L.P.
