UK Blog Tour: The Moment of Letting Go by J.A. Redmerski!

Publication date: 4th September 2015 (UK paperback)
Paperback edition: -
Source: Paperback
Rating: 4.5 stars

Synopsis: You can follow the rules or you can follow your heart...

Sienna Murphy never does anything without a plan. And so far her plans have been working. Right after college, she got a prestigious job and gained the stability she'd always craved - until work takes her to the sun-drenched shores of Oahu and places her in the path of sexy surfer Luke Everett. For the first time, she lets her heart take control. Drawn to his carefree charm, she makes a spontaneous and very un-Sienna-like decision to drop everything and stay in Hawaii for two more weeks.

Luke lives fast and wild. When he meets Sienna, he's convinced that some no-strings-attached fun is just what she needs. As their nights quickly turn from playful to passionate, Luke can't deny the deep connection he feels. But there's a reason Luke doesn't do long-term. He can't promise Sienna forever, when the enormity of his past has shown him just how fragile the future can be . . .

I've read a few of this author's other books, but they've been pretty dark books compared to what this book sounded like! I had also heard of this book before I was contacted by the UK publisher and asked if I would like to review it and be on the UK Blog Tour! I, of course, said yes and received an early review copy! I loved this book! It was very bright and romantic, which is totally different to the other books from this author that I've read! It did have a dark side though! This book was also set in Hawaii, which is one of my top places to visit, so it's fair to say that this book has made me want to visit it even more lol! The author also described it the exact way I think that it would look like, which was really cool! The plot of this book was amazing too! There wasn't any action and suspense in it, but the relationship between the two main characters was very cute at times and then it progressed to steamy and hot lol! There were also some secrets in the plot too that had an impact on the development of the plot! The secrets maybe weren't as big as I expected them to be, but they were very emotional! The characters were also amazing! Sienna was the main female character, and she was someone that worked a really demanding job, so she didn't really get to experience life and everything that it had to offer! Well, that was until she met her love interest, who showed her that every fear can be faced and to live doing what you love! I loved Sienna! She had a lot of doubt in her mind about everything, but she was also trusting and she became more confident with her fears as this book progressed! It was amazing to see her face her fears and she came so far in this book! Luke was the main male character and love interest of Sienna! Luke had lost a lot in his life, so he lived everyday like it was his last and he loved adrenaline filled sports and doing what he loved! Some, okay ALL, of the sports he did would have terrified me lol! I had so much respect for Luke though, because he taught Sienna a lot, even though he was going through a lot too! I think that Sienna's influence helped Luke come to terms with what he had been through as well though! I loved Luke! He was so cute with Sienna, and I could see that he cared deeply for her! I loved that this book was written from both Sienna and Luke's point of views! I wasn't sure if it was going to be, but I'm really happy that it was! It made the plot even better and helped me connect even more with the two main characters! I can also completely understand why this book is a standalone! All the questions and things that were raised in the plot were answered and the ending was also very beautiful! I'm definitely going to check out this author's books that I haven't read too because I've only read a couple! The UK cover for this book suits it so well! I loved it as soon as I saw it and the girl on the front is a really good Sienna! I also love the US cover for this book too! Big thank you to Piatkus for an early review copy of The Moment of Letting Go, and for having me on the UK Blog Tour!
