I've read the majority of this author's books and I loved the ones that I've read, so I do try and stay up-to-date with her new releases! I was really excited to sign up to review this book because it sounded amazing! And then I saw the cover and it definitely sealed the deal lol! After reading, I can say that this book gutted me! It started out very funny and focusing on the main characters relationship turning into something a bit more permanent! There were some seriously hot scenes between them too! The last half of the book then gutted me and had a huge impact on me! I mean, I haven't cried as much at a book in quite a while, so this did take me by surprise! I also didn't see the twist coming because I skimmed over the synopsis, so I think that's another reason that I got very emotional! I actually had to stop reading because I couldn't see through my tears! The plot was very beautiful though and very well written! It only took me a few sittings to read too! I also couldn't stop thinking about this book after I'd finished it, and that's how you know that it was a damn good book! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Paige was the main female character, and at the beginning of this book she was scared of being in a relationship and she was scared of commitment because she had been burned so many times in past relationships! As the book progressed, Paige went through a lot and my heart completely broke for her! She lost her confidence and she felt like nothing was going right and she was dealt blow after blow! Paige handled everything so well and I admired her so much! Sean was the main male character and love interest of Paige! I loved Sean so much in this book! He was absolutely perfect and he didn't do a single thing wrong! He was also there for Paige every step of the way in this book and he refused to let her go through what she did alone! Sean was also a very funny character and he always tried to brighten Paige's spirits and keep her as happy as she could be! Sean was very protective of Paige too and it was easy to see how much he loved her! I loved that this book was written from both Paige and Sean's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because this author's other books that I've read were written from dual point of view, so I'm really happy that this book was too! It helped me connect more with Paige and Sean and it allowed for more emotion and for more things to happen in the plot too! I can also completely understand why this book is a standalone! I'm really sad that it is, but the plot was wrapped up and the ending was perfect for the characters and made me so happy! I cried happy tears at it lol! I would love to read more on Paige and Sean too and I hope that make appearances in this author's next book! The cover for this book is also stunning! I love it a lot and it suits the book so well!
