I loved the other books in this series, so I was really looking forward to this book! This author is also one of my favourite romantic/suspense authors, so I always look forward to a new book from her, which is why I was very excited when I received my ARC of this book! I also didn't even read the synopsis before I started reading this book, so I did go in blind! I'm so happy I did this though because I was drawn in right from the first chapter and I couldn't put it down until I had finished reading it! This book only took me a few sittings to read too! The plot also developed at the perfect pace and it had plenty of action, suspense and romance in it to keep me desperate to read on! The suspense aspect was also in this book right from the first few chapters, which I loved! I also loved the romance between the two main characters! It wasn't instant and it took a while for things to start happening! There were plenty of seriously hot scenes between them too! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Grace was the main female character and I loved her in this book! She went through a lot in this book too! Grace was placed in a dangerous situation at the beginning of the book and then in danger for the rest of the book! My heart did go out to Grace because she was in danger for no reason and it wasn't her fault! Grace handled everything the best she could though and I really admired this about her! She was also very easy for me to connect with and I didn't lose that connection all the way through this book! Ian was the main male character and love interest of Grace! I loved Ian a lot in this book! He had a tough looking exterior that made people judge him, but he was such a sweetheart and very loving! He showed this side of him all the way through this book, especially with Grace! Ian was also very protective of Grace, which was completely understandable considering the situation she was in! Ian also had a very dangerous job, but I could understand why he was he in the job he was in! He was doing good in the world, even if his job wasn't the most honest! I loved that this book was written from both Grace and Ian's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because the other books were written from dual point of view, so I'm really happy that this book was too! It helped me connect more with both characters and it allowed for more things to happen in the plot, especially with the suspense aspect! I also can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's going to focus on new characters, but the main male character made small appearances in this book, so I can't wait to read his story! It releases this year too, so I'm happy that I don't have to wait a year for it lol and I'll definitely be reading it as soon as it releases! The cover for this book is also seriously hot and I love it a lot! The model on the front is the perfect Ian too and the cover would definitely draw me to pick the book up! Big thank you to L.P.
