Release Day Blitz: Phoenix [Own the Skies 02] by Emma Nichole!

** Nora **

There are three simple things I need to do to get my life back on track.

Go to Savannah for two weeks.

Let the ocean reset my mind.

Do not fall for Case Carmichael.

I’ll just ignore his incredible body, his wicked charm, his chivalrous ways, his perfect smile, and his never-ending ability to make me melt right where I stand.

I resisted temptation once, I can do it again.

Easy enough, right?

** Case **

The last person I expected to see when I walked into my best friend’s home was her.

Nora Masen.

She’s not like other women I’ve met.

She shot me down once, even though her body was screaming otherwise.

I'm determined to keep her from slipping away again.

Even when my demons threaten to pull me below the surface, can I convince her to give me a chance?

Book Blitz & Giveaway: His Little Wife Lie by Sloan Storm!

IT'S NOT A LIE IF WE BELIEVE IT'S TRUE.

That's what Griff Foster said right after he asked me to be his wife.
Sweet, isn't he?

Let's be real: his proposal had nothing to do with romance. Falling in love isn't in his DNA. With piercing blue eyes and a hard body to match, he goes through women like candy.

But he saved my life.

I promised I'd repay him. I should learn when to keep my mouth shut.
Griff needs a Mrs. Right Now, and he's convinced I'm the perfect actress.

In case I have any doubts, there are seven badly needed zeroes on a check with my name on it to help make up my mind.

Ugh.

We're totally fake. Nothing but lies.

Except the way his lips feel on mine.
Except the way his touch sets my body ablaze.
Except the way my soul aches when he looks into my eyes.

He says that without me, he loses everything.
But if I've got the upper hand, why does it feel like he's in control?

There's only one thing missing from this arrangement.
What happens to my heart when it's over?

Sloan Storm pens imaginative yarns based on dominant men and the women who challenge them. As such, power plays and passion are the heart of each and every story.

After all, what else is there in life?

When not glued to a keyboard creating tales of whimsy, Sloan loves to talk to fans! If you want to connect, you can do it in any number of ways:

Release Blitz: One Percent of You by Michelle Gross!

Make no mistakes about it. I know what I look like to others. Young, government-aided, pregnant mom. They see Lucy on my hip, and they see a mistake. I mean, why else would someone have a child so young, right? They couldn’t be more wrong. I’m too busy most days between parenting, work, and finishing up my last year of nursing school to let their judging gaze tear me down until he moves in the vacant house next to the apartments I live in.

His cold, blunt observation of us doesn’t differ from any other stranger. He doesn’t know me, but he’s already painting a picture of who he thinks I am in his mind. He judges my very round belly, Lucy’s inability to leave him alone, the bags under my eyes, and the fact that I can care less what I look like anymore.

He’s a rude guy. Stays that way for months too. Then something happens, I’m not even sure what. Judgmental Guy decides Lucy and me—as well as baby Eli, are worth his friendship.
Turns out, Judgmental Guy isn’t too mean—okay, he kind of still is. But he graduates to Elijah. I build an unlikely friendship with him which deems it necessary for him to start smiling around me and my kids.

I’m wrong again. Elijah isn’t rude. He’s terrifying. His strange acts of kindness are unraveling me. Elijah is only my friend.

Right?

Oh, fudge. I think I’m wrong. Again.

Author bio:

Michelle is from a small town in Eastern Kentucky where opossums try to blend in with the cats on the porch and bears are likely to chase your pets—this is very true, it happened with her sister’s dog. Despite the extra needed protection for your pets, she loves the mountains she calls home. She has a man and twin girls who are the light of her life and the reason she’s slightly crazy.

As a kid, she was that cousin, that friend, that sister and daughter, the talker who could spin a tale and make-believe into any little thing so it was no surprise when she found love in reading, and figured all these characters inside her head needed an outlet. They wanted to be heard, so she wrote.

The voices keep growing faster than she gets the time to write.

The stories are never going to end. That’s perfectly okay, though. We never want to stop an adventure.

She writes and loves many different genres so sign up to her mailing list to keep updated on her releases!

Blog Tour & Giveaway: Under the Northern Lights by S.C. Stephens!

Publication date: 30th April 2019
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 4 stars
Synopsis: From the number one New York Times bestselling author of the Thoughtless series comes a sweet, thoughtful romance set high in the Alaskan wilderness.

Mallory Reynolds is a driven woman fueled by her passion for photographing wild animals in remote locations. Every year she makes a trek deep into Alaska, but this time the unthinkable happens: she crash-lands after her plane stalls out in a storm. Injured, vulnerable, and threatened by the very creatures she loves, Mallory fears the worst—until she’s rescued by Michael Bradley, a mysterious mountain man living in self-imposed exile.

Mallory is grateful for Michael’s help but desperate to return home to let her family know she’s alive. Unfortunately, neither of them can leave Michael’s secluded cabin until spring. Mallory’s stuck with a stranger for months.

As Mallory recovers, a deep bond begins to form between the pair. Mallory is convinced that fate brought them together, but Michael is buried in his past, unable to move forward. Undaunted, Mallory tends to Michael’s heart as tenderly as he cared for her wounds—but will her love be enough to heal him?

I've read a few books from this author and enjoyed them! I then saw this book on Netgalley and the cover drew me to it, so I checked out the synopsis! It sounded exactly like my kind of read, so I requested a copy and tried to read it as soon as I could! I would have read it straightaway, but I had a few other ARCs to read first! After reading this book, I have to say that I enjoyed it! I loved the whole idea of the plot and felt like it was slightly different to other books with a similar plot! It only took me a few sittings to read as well and I thought that the plot developed at a nice pace! Religion also played a big part of this book, which I wasn't expecting, and I'm not religious in any way, so I did find this a bit distracting! That was my only issue with this book! I enjoyed the romance and it allowed for a few hot scenes! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Mallory was the main character, and in this book all she wanted was to go on her holiday and take pictures of wildlife! This definitely didn't go to plan for Mallory and she ended up stuck in the middle of nowhere, which is how she came to meet her love interest! I liked Mallory in this book and she was stuck because she wanted to stay with her love interest, but she also wanted to see her family again! I could understand Mallory's dilemma! Michael was the love interest of Mallory! I was intrigued by Michael pretty much as soon as he was introduced in this book! He did keep his cards close to his chest and it took quite a bit of the book for him to open up to Mallory and reveal more about himself! I did like Michael in this book and I had respect for him because he did everything himself and he didn't rely on any mod cons! I also understood why Michael wanted to escape people because he had lost faith in them! This book was only written from Mallory's point of view, which surprised me a little! In a way I was expecting it to be written from dual point of view, but the synopsis does give the impression that it is only going to be written from Mallory's point of view, so I probably shouldn't have been too surprised lol! I can understand why it was only written from Mallory's point of view because it kept Michael's secrets for longer and kept the mystery going for longer! I would have liked to have gotten the chance to have went inside Michael's head, but I enjoyed this book only being written through Mallory's eyes and I was still able to connect with Michael! I can also completely understand why this book is a standalone! I wish that it wasn't because I would have loved to have read more on Mallory and Michael, but the ending of this book was left at the perfect place and summed up the characters story beautifully! I still have a few of this author's other books to read and I can't wait to see what she's going to release next! The cover for this book is absolutely stunning! The blue really makes the cover stand out and it definitely drew me to the book! The cover also definitely suits the book and I love it a lot! Big thank you to S.C. Stephens, Montlake Romance, and Netgalley for an ARC of Under the Northern Lights!

Release Day Blitz & Review: Release [Off Balance 03] by Lucia Franco!

Publication date: 2nd May 2019
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 5 stars
Synopsis: After Kova’s devastating betrayal, Adrianna must become her own champion and place her Olympic dream ahead of all else. In doing so, she ignores the warning signs as both the extreme training and unending heartbreak begin to take their toll.

There is no atoning for what Kova did. The vow he made cannot be undone. With boundaries set and lines clearly defined, Kova will now have to be the one to relinquish control in order to regain Adrianna’s trust.

Though the dynamics shift between coach and gymnast, nothing can prepare them for the agonizing truth that is to come. Fighting for a dream becomes only half the battle when Adrianna’s fate is sealed, leaving them both with their biggest challenge yet.

I read the first two books in this series last year and I've been eagerly anticipating this book since! I know that it's been a bit of a wait between all the books in this series, but the wait has always been worth it, so I had high expectations for this book! I then put my name down for an ARC and was ecstatic when I received one that I started it right away! This book only took me one day to read in about three sittings lol! I'm not sure if it was shorter than the other books in the series or I just read it super fast lol! I loved this book a lot! It was full of angst and romance! There were a few seriously hot scenes between the main character and her love interest and they were really, really hot! There were some surprise scenes too and some twist and turns to keep the plot interesting! The characters were again amazing and made this book even better! Adrianna was again the main female character, and she had been through quite a lot in the other books in this series and then she went through a lot emotionally in this book! I did feel really sorry for Adrianna because she really loved her love interest and there were so many complications and obstacles for them to be together! Adrianna then discovered something that changed things for her and I can see this having a bigger impact in future books! Kova was again the love interest of Adrianna! There was a big bombshell dropped at the end of the last book that changed the relationship even more between Adrianna and Kova! I did understand why Kova didn't tell Adrianna, but he really should have! It was still easy to see that Kova really cared about Adrianna and he wanted to be with her! Kova also worked hard in this book and he was there for Adrianna as much as she would allow him! This book was only written from Adrianna's point of view, which I was expecting because the other books in this series have been written from only her point of view! I'm loving this series only being written through Adrianna's eyes, but I would love to get inside Kova's head too! He's a very intriguing character and I really want to know more about him! I now can't wait to read the next book in this series! This book was again left at quite the ending and has made intrigued to find out what's going to happen next! I'm not sure when the author is planning to release the next book, but I really hope it's this year at least! I do know that she has a standalone book coming out next and I'm excited to find out more about that book and give it a read once it releases! I still have a few of this author's other books to read too! The new covers for this series are also amazing! They're all stunning and suit the books! I was a big fan of the original covers for the first two books because of the colours on them, but I'm a big fan of the new covers too and the cover models are the perfect Adrianna and Kova! Big thank you to Lucia and Give Me Books for an ARC of Release!
