I was really excited to read this book! I read the first book last month and was desperate for this book after the cliff-hanger ending! I then signed up review it for the Review/Release Blitz, so was given an ARC! I started reading it straightaway and was hooked until I had finished it! I wasn't 100% sure which direction this book was going to go in because of the ending of the last book, but I knew how I wanted it to end lol! I loved it the direction it went in though! It had a lot in it and there was never a dull moment! The plot was amazing! It had some suspense and a bit of action in it! It was also packed full of romance, and there were some seriously hot scenes in it too! It just kept my interest all the way through and was so damn good! I loved everything about it and the ending was what I wanted, so I was super happy lol! I just couldn't have asked for anything more from it! It had everything I love in the plot of a book in it! The characters were again amazing! Alex was the main male character in this book as opposed to being more of a secondary character in the first book! Most of this book was written from his point of view, which I found really interesting! I didn't know that Alex was hiding such a big secret from his love interest, Elizabeth, in the last book, but you find out everything in this book lol! I could understand why he hid his secret though! Alex was also insanely hot and he was really protective of Elizabeth! I just loved him! Everything he did in this book was to keep Elizabeth safe and to make sure that they ended up together at the end! I respected him so much for this because it showed that he really loved her! Elizabeth was again the main female character, and not a lot of this book was written from her point of view like the first book, as it was mostly written from Alex's! My heart went out so much to Elizabeth in this book! She went through a lot, both emotionally and physically, and Alex was also hiding a big secret from her that changed their relationship a lot! Elizabeth was so strong though and she kept going, even though she was scared and she didn't really know what was going on! She really impressed me and I connected really well with her too! I had a lot of respect for her too! I wished that Elizabeth wasn't in the situation she was in, but she was trapped and her husband was manipulated her! I was really happy when she got her life back though! I wasn't expecting this book to be written from both Alex and Elizabeth's point of views, as I was expecting it to be written from only Alex's, but I'm really happy it was written from dual point of view! It really put more emotion into the plot and helped me connect more with the two characters! I'm actually really upset that this is the final book in this series! I've just loved it and the ending was absolutely beautiful! I'm definitely going to be checking out this author's other book and be waiting for more from her! The cover for this book is seriously hot! The model on the front definitely suits the character of Alex and the cover suits the first book's cover perfectly! I love it!
