I'm a big fan of all this author's books, and I loved the first book in this series! I couldn't wait to read this book, so I signed up for the Blog Tour! I was really happy when I received my ARC and I started reading it as soon as I could! This book was amazing! It only took me a few sittings to read and I zoomed through it! I almost wish that I had read it slower lol, and I loved it as much as the first book! This book also tied in with the second book in this author's Armed & Dangerous series, Roped In, which I thought was really cool as I didn't make the initial connection in the first book! I also loved the plot of this book! It had plenty of action, suspense and romance in it to keep me desperate to find out how everything was going to progress! It also had quite a few really hot scenes too! The plot also had lots of twist and turns in it to keep things interesting as well! I just loved it and it just kept getting better and better! The characters were also amazing and made the plot even better! Tyla was the main female character, and she was such a strong and brave character, but she had also experienced a huge amount of loss! Once I read her story, I was able to understand why she was scared to start a relationship with her main love interest! My heart also completely went out to her because quite a few guys wanted to mate with her and all Tyla wanted was to be with her true mate and be happy! I also connected with Tyla all the way through this book and I loved her bravery and how protective she was of her main love interest! Tyla also grew a lot in this book, which I loved! Sebastian was the main male character and main love interest of Tyla! Sebastian was seriously hot and very, very protective of Tyla! He had every reason to be considering the situation they were in! It was a very dangerous situation, but I loved that Sebastian gave Tyla room and that he let her fight and defend herself! A lot of guys also wanted to mate with Tyla, even though Sebastian was her true mate, so I could understand why he was so frustrated at the beginning of this book! He fought his corner though and it was very easy to see the amount of love he had for Tyla! I loved that this book was written from both Tyla and Sebastian's point of views! I was expecting it to be after I read the synopsis, but I'm really glad it was! It helped me connect more with both characters and it made the romance more intense! I also can't wait to read the next book in this series! I'm assuming that it's going to be a standalone book and I'm looking forward to finding out who the main characters are going to be! I'm definitely going to be anticipating its release and reading it as soon as it does release! I hope that Tyla and Sebastian make appearances in it! The cover for this book is seriously hot! I loved it as soon as I saw it and the models on the front are the perfect Tyla and Sebastian! I also love how well it suits the cover for the first book! Big thank you to L.P.
