I received an email from the publisher of this book asking me if I'd like to be on the blog tour! After reading the synopsis and seeing the cover, I was very intrigued, so I signed up and started reading my ARC as soon as I received it! After reading this book I can say that I freaking loved it! I was drawn in right from the first chapter and I found myself reading a few more chapters every chance I had! This meant that this book only took me a few sittings to read lol! The plot also kept me hooked all the way through and I loved what happened in it! The plot also developed at a nice pace and I loved the bits of humour in it! The romance was also very sweet and developed at the perfect pace to keep me interested! There wasn't any action and suspense in the plot, but this book was a nice, clean young adult book! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Riley was the main character, and in this book she was actually more shy than I was expecting her to be and she was more reserved! Riley definitely wasn't shy when it came to her love interest though and she was very straight with him lol! Riley did become quite flustered when it came to her love interest once she started developing feelings for him, but this was because she wasn't sure how to handle those feelings! I connected with Riley all the way through this book too! Alec was the love interest of Riley in this book! I loved Alec a lot in this book! He wasn't only a very funny character, but he showed a much softer side to him as well, especially when it came to Riley! I loved the way that Alec was with Riley too! He showed her how to have a good time and he loved to wind her up and spend time with her! Alec was also loving towards his sister and mother and this made me have a lot of respect for him! This book was only written from Riley's point of view, which I was expecting after I read the synopsis! I loved that this book was only written from Riley's point of view! I mean I wouldn't have minded a few chapters to have been written from Alec's point of view, but I can completely understand why it was only written from Riley's point of view because it was her story! I was still able to connect and understand all the other characters too! I can also completely understand why this book is a standalone! I really wish that it wasn't because I would love to read more on Riley and Alec, but the ending was left at the perfect place for the characters! I now can't wait to see what book this author is going to release next! well, I hope she release more books lol! I'll definitely be reading anymore books she releases! The cover for this book is also absolutely perfect for this book! I love it a lot and I love the bright colours and how well it suits the book! Lauren Price was born in Coventry in 1999 and remembers spending her childhood with her nose in a book or creating short stories.
