WOW! This book was absolutely amazing! I was not expecting to love it as much as I did at all! I thought that I knew what was going to happen in it but the author completely took me by surprise! I found myself wanting to read one more chapter and then like an hour later I would have read like 7 more chapters! The plot was so fast and I would have loved for it to have went a bit slower! I looked at my Kindle and I was only like 20% through it and then I would look again and I would be like 50% through it lol! The plot of this book was so amazing! You felt your heart breaking and then mending again and then breaking again! I personally went through a lot of emotions during this book and I even teared up at the end! The characters were also amazing! Victoria was someone who was so normal and she reminded me of people that I know! I connected with her instantly and I just enjoyed her character! I also felt so sorry for her as she went through a lot in this book! Jared was smoking hot! I absolutely loved him! He was perfect for Victoria and I loved how protective he was of her and that he was always there for her! Jared and Victoria's relationship did develop quite quickly but I think that this was because the book is told from different months so time has obviously passed that we didn't get to read about! I also really enjoyed Happenstance being told from both Victoria and Jared's point of views as we got to see their feelings for each other develop from both of their perspectives! I am dying for the next book in this series and I adore the cover! Big thank you to M.J. Abraham for an ARC of Happenstance and also Fern for asking me to be on the Blog Tour!

Excerpt - Victoria's POV!

“Another round?” he asks, holding up his shot glass.

“Yeah!” We clink glasses and take a shot. But another round turns into another and a few more after that. At some point, I don’t even know what I’m having.

“What is this again?” I lean forward and squint at my glass, because it’s starting to get fuzzy.

“A Wet Pussy,” he says.

“What!” I laugh. “Liar!”

“No, I swear. That’s what it’s called!”

"Sounds like my kind of drink. That’s something I definitely want to have!” I belt out a loud laugh.

“I can arrange that a.s.a.p.,” he whispers in my ear. I lean against him and give him a peck on the neck. My legs are suddenly really heavy and I can feel the blisters from earlier that week come back.

“My feet hurt. Time to take off my shoes.”

I bend down to remove the straps and almost topple over. Why are my feet so far away? “Alright, sexy. I think it’s time to take you home,” he says wrapping my arm over his shoulder to steady me.

"Home! But it’s so early!” I pout. I wonder if I look as hot as Blondie does when I pout. “I want more shots. Lots and lots of ‘em!”

Steven laughs. “Ok, I’ll get you more. At the after party.”
