I was so freaking excited to read this book because I completely adored the first book and I fell in love with the two main characters in it! This book was just as amazing as the first book! Again, I'm not sure whether this book was quite short or I just read it really quickly lol! It just seemed to end really quickly and with a killer cliff-hanger lol! The plot of this book was also developed on brilliantly from the first book! I just completely loved it! A main angle in the first book wasn't in this book at all, which surprised me, but this book was more about the two main characters sort of starting a relationship and their feelings for each other developing further! The plot had me melting in some places and then had my heart in my mouth in others lol! There was a lot in it too! I just adored it! The characters were again amazing! McKenna was again the main female character and in this book she knew what she wanted and she was determined to get it! Or him ;) It took her a while to figure out whether her love interest was worth it because of his self doubt, but she soon realised that she had to take a chance in order to find out if their relationship could work! I just loved McKenna! I loved that again she was selfless and was always putting people in front of herself! I also loved that even though she was facing her own battles, she was determined to help Knox fight his! That's love for you, and McKenna was just full of it in this book! She received a lot of love too! Knox was again the main male character and again he was hot! Knox in this book didn't really know whether he was coming or going! There was a lot going on and he was just trying to stay in control! I did feel sorry for him because I just wanted him to be happy! I also loved that he was still super protective of his brothers and they actually helped him a lot in this book with his relationship development with McKenna! Due to a misunderstanding in this book, McKenna sort of keeps her distance from Knox, and I loved that Knox gave her time, but he also wouldn't let her go! McKenna and Knox's relationship also developed on really far in this book! I was hoping it would and it did, so I was really happy! And there were more sexy scenes ;) I also loved that this book was again written from both McKenna and Knox's point of views! It's definitely essential for the plot development! I thought that this book was going to be the last book in Knox and McKenna's story, but there's actually going to be another book! Well, let me just say that there better be after that cliff-hanger lol! I didn't see a cliff-hanger coming, but it left me with my mouth hanging open! I was flipping through my Kindle for more pages lol! The cover for this book is stunning! I completely love it and again the models on the front definitely suit the characters of Knox and McKenna!
