UK Blog Tour: Harder [Caroline & West 02] by Robin York!

Publication date: 1st July 2014
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 stars
Synopsis: Caroline still dreams about West. His warm skin, his taut muscles, his hand sliding down her stomach. Then she wakes up and she's back to reality: West is gone. Before he left, he broke her heart.

Then, out of the blue, West calls in crisis. A tragedy has hit his family-a family that's already a fractured mess. Caroline knows what she has to do. Without discussion, without stopping to think, she's on a plane, flying to his side to support him in any way he needs.

Though they are together once more, things are totally different. West looks edgy, angry at the world. Caroline doesn't fit in. She should be back in Iowa, finalizing her civil suit against the ex-boyfriend who posted their explicit pictures on a revenge porn website. But here she is. Deeply into West, wrapped up in him, in love with him. Still.

They fought the odds once. Losing each other was hard. But finding their way back to each other couldn't be harder.

I remember the ending of the first book in this series leaving me desperate to find out what was going to happen next! The ending did completely surprise me, but it was so good! When I received an email from the UK publisher asking me if I would like to be on the Blog Tour for this book, I was seriously happy and I squealed when I got my paperback for review! The plot of this book was completely different to the plot of the first book! It continued Caroline and West's story, but it went in a direction that I didn't really expect! I expected some things to happen, but some things happened that I wasn't expecting! I love being surprised with a plot though! I found it hard to put this book down as well! I was reading a few more chapters every chance I got! I really enjoyed it and I thought that it was the perfect conclusion to Caroline and West's story! The characters were again amazing! Caroline was again the main female character and in this book she was ballsy and she told her love interest, West, straight and she didn't hold back! She had really grown as a character and I loved her changes! I could see that she was a much stronger person and that what she had been through in the first book didn't have as strong a hold on her! Caroline's changes were for the better as she grew so much in this book! I just loved her and I was so happy that Caroline learned how to move on from what happened to her in the first book! West was again the main male character and in this book he was a more vulnerable character! This book was more about him though and the first book was sort of more about Caroline! My heart did go out to West in this book because he was sort of left to deal with everything related to his family and he found it hard to cope! He also acted like a serious ass at the beginning of this book, but he had his reasons for acting like that! His personality changed as this book developed and he was back to the West we meet in the first book! In fact, he was even hotter than the West from the first book lol! I did love West and I understood why he acted the way he did towards Caroline in this book at the beginning! I was really happy that this book was again written from both Caroline and West's point of views! I loved getting to go inside both of the characters heads and see their feelings for each other develop even further! I'm not sure if there's going to be another book in this series! I don't think there will be as the ending of this book was really beautiful, but I can always hope, right? Lol! The UK cover for this book is so pretty! I love how different it is to the US cover, and while I'm a fan of the US covers, I do love the UK covers as well! Big thank you to Piatkus for asking me to be on the Blog Tour and for sending me a paperback for review!
