The cover first attracted me to this book, as it is absolutely stunning! I then read the synopsis and I was intrigued, but I wasn't sure if I was actually going to enjoy it as it sounded very different to what I normally read! I took a chance on it though and after reading it, I'm still not sure what to think about it lol! It was definitely different to what I was expecting! I was originally going to give this book three and a half stars, but I bumped it up to four for how unique it was and also for the last 15% of the plot! While reading this book, I felt like I was transported to where the main character actually was, as the descriptions and everything were amazing and very detailed! I do have to admit though that the plot did confuse me for most of the book! There were times where I thought it could have been explained a little better! It took me until over half-way through reading to actually understand what was going on! Once I did understand it I was completely sucked in though! The plot was so unique and written brilliantly! It was very descriptive as well! The characters were very interesting and written really well, but sometimes I had a hard time connecting with them! Kasha was the main character and my heart went out to her in this book! She was placed in a situation that she didn't have a clue what to do in! I would have totally freaked out if I was her! Kasha was such a strong character though and all the way through this book she fought and she fought to the best of her ability! By the end of this book I adored her and I connected with her more! It kind of felt like there was a love triangle in this book between Kasha and her love interests, Graven and Kaden! I'm not sure if this is what the author was going for, but that's what it felt like lol! I did like the love triangle, but I didn't have any idea where Kaden came from! He was just there one second and gone the next lol! I will admit that I was Team Graven, because I felt that he had genuine feelings for Kasha whereas Kaden was sort of goody two shoes kind of guy! Don't get me wrong, both guys were seriously hot, but Graven just grabbed my attention more than Kaden! I also liked that Kasha had feelings for both of the guys, but didn't play with those feelings and play with both guys feelings! I also loved that the love triangle didn't play that big a part in the plot, but it was still there in the background! I'm not sure if I'm going to read the next book in this series, as I'm still not sure how I feel about this one! I did find it confusing, but it was unique and maybe the next book will be easier for me to understand because I've read this one! The ending of this book really makes me want to read the next book though because it left it at a serious cliff-hanger, which I did not see coming! As I said, the cover is stunning and attracted me instantly! I am completely in love with it! The cover first attracted me to this book and then I checked out the synopsis! The synopsis doesn't actually tell you a lot about what happens in the book too be completely honest with you, so I went into this book not really knowing what it was going to be about lol! I can say that I did enjoy it and it was pretty different to what I was expecting! The plot was all about just how precious consequences can be and that not all of them are bad! It was also about two people who had been through a lot finding love and acceptance! Although, I loved the plot, I did have a few problems with it as well! The plot sort of stayed on the one level for most of the book and wasn't really very climatic! Don't get me wrong, there were some points where there were quite surprising moments, but I felt like I was reading them all on one level and it didn't waver to make me desperate to read on or anything like that! The plot was interesting though and I think it's actually the first time I've read something like it! I don't want to give too much away with the plot as it's so much better if you experience it with your own eyes! I also have to point out that I did spot some spelling and grammar errors in this book, but I'm not sure whether I was given an unedited ARC or a final copy for the Blog Tour! The characters were great! Hayley was the female main character and I thought she was a wonderful person! She was so nice and I could tell that she sort of wore her heart on her sleeve! My heart went out to her for what happened to her, but I loved that she didn't regret the consequences that came from what happened to her and instead she embraced them! Completely embraced them! Hayley was such a loving character and at times I found myself wanting to hug her something fierce, because she just always tried her best and embraced the good with the bad! Cameron 'Cam' was the main male character in this book and at the beginning, I thought he was a serious ass! Especially the way he reacted to finding out what Hayley had neglected to tell him, because she wanted to have one night where she was a normal teenager! I lost some serious respect for him in that scene, but as the book progressed, he did start to change after he realised that his feelings for Hayley outweighed his stubbornness! Cam did have his own secrets to bare in this book, which sort of explained the way he reacted sometimes! He was also hot and had a bit of a cocky side to him as well! I loved that this book was written from both Hayley and Cam's point of views as it made the story so much more interesting! The secondary characters in this book were brilliant! They added so much to the story and really helped fuel the plot! I can completely understand why this book is a standalone as the ending summed up Hayley and Cam's relationship and it showed just how much it had developed! It was also a beautiful ending that tied up all the loose ends in the book! After I read this book I discovered that there's going to be a novella to finish off this book, but I'm not sure if it's still going to be about Hayley and Cam! As I said, the cover for this book is what attracted me to it! Everything about it is stunning and I completely love it! Big thank you to Tamsyn for an ARC of Precious Consequences and to Enticing Journey Book Promotions for having me on the Blog Tour!

I normally read novellas, but I've seen novella series' become a lot more frequent these past few months, which makes me really happy as they're a new thing and you don't have to wait ages for the next one! When I first heard about this novella series, I was really excited to read it! I first heard about it when I got an email about the Cover Reveal sign-ups for this novella and after seeing the cover and reading the synopsis, I knew I wanted to read it! I love this author's other contemporary books, so I was excited to see what else she had up her sleeve with this series! I loved this novella! It was really short, but quite a lot happened in it! The premise of the plot was actually really funny! I found myself laughing under my breath or at times, laughing out loud! I normally don't really laugh at books, so I was quite surprised that I laughed at this one! I also adored the plot because it was something that could happen to anyone, but probably wouldn't! Unless you're Valerie, of course! The plot also flowed brilliantly and was the perfect length to leave you wanting more after finishing it! I loved everything about it and I haven't really read anything like it before! As I said, it was a really fun plot and it's definitely worth a read! The main character of this novella was Valerie and I completely adored her! She was funny, and had a bit of a wild streak to her as well lol! I won't explain the wild streak too much as the synopsis basically tells you it, but read this book just to find out what she does and how she handles it! It had me laughing so much! Valerie was also such a genuine person, so it made it easier for me to connect with her! I just loved her! Her reactions and the way she handled things was exactly the way I would have! I'm really excited to see how she's going to grow in the remaining novellas! Wes was the kind of love interest of Valerie and he was smoking hot! I mean he was a stripper and everything! What more could you want, right? There were several points in this novella though where I saw quite an almost vulnerable side to Wes and I'm hoping that as these novellas continue, that I'll get to learn more about his background and also what made him vulnerable! Wes added a lot to the humour in this book as well as he was quite witty with Valerie, which was really funny! I cannot wait to read the next novella in this series! I'll actually be on pins and needles to see where Valerie and Wes's relationship is going to head next! I can't wait to read the rest of the novellas as well! The cover for this book suits it amazingly! I love the colouring and, of course, the fact that it has a hot body on the front of it lol!
