I haven't read a book from this author in ages... and then I found out about this one! The cover, the synopsis, everything about it drew me to it! I was so excited to read it! The plot of this book drew me in from the first page! It was full of sexual tension and I couldn't put it down until I had read the last page! There was always something happening in the plot too, so I couldn't put it down and I zoomed through it in a few sittings! The only sort of criticism I can say about the plot was that I was expecting a bit more action in it! Don't get me wrong, there were a few scenes with action in it, but I was expecting more scenes with action in them! There were some opportunities for it in the book and I did love the big action scene at the end! Apart from that, this book was just absolutely amazing and it really did blow me away! I just loved the suspense and romance in it too! The characters were amazing! London was the main female character and she was just thrown into the danger in this book! She didn't know who she could trust pretty early on, and I could completely understand why! I loved London! I loved that she was wary and she had to be proven to why she should trust that person! London did go through a lot in this book and my heart went out to her! I wasn't expecting her to go through so much, but she did and I felt so sorry for her! I loved how strong she was though! She got back up and she fought to find out the truth and she fought to get revenge! Plus, I have to say that the guy who fought alongside her was pretty damn hot too ;) Ace was the main male character and he was so hot! I loved how sort of domineering he was and he was such a dangerous guy! I mean, who doesn't love a hot, dangerous guy, right ;) I just loved Ace! I loved how protective he was of London and I could see how far he would go to keep her safe! Well, how far he did go to keep her safe would be more accurate! We don't really find out what made Ace get into such a dangerous predicament, but we sort of get more insight into when the chapters were written from his point of view, which I loved! Ace was a really intriguing character because he sort of held his cards close to his chest! He started to unravel as the book progressed though, which was really interesting! I really enjoyed that this book was written from both London and Ace's point of views! I wasn't sure if it was going to be after I read the synopsis, but I'm really happy it was! It really helped me connect with both of the characters more and I loved watching their relationship grow through both of their eyes! The ending of this book left me in tears! I was actually in shock and then I just burst out crying and stayed that way for about half an hour lol! My heart just completely broke because I prayed for the opposite thing to happen and it didn't! The cover for this book is so hot! It's pretty different because it doesn't have a half naked body on it or a hot couple lol! This makes me love it just that little bit more!
