Publication date: 15th April 2014
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 stars
Synopsis: Allison thought it was crazy enough when she found out her father, Liam, wasn't entirely human. But now she has to join his magical allies to unravel his former mistress's plans. Aoife wants to keep Allison's parents apart forever.

Despite Allison's efforts to keep Ethan, the only guy she's ever cared about, out of this supernatural mess, fate keeps throwing him back into the mix.

Will Allison be able to find the amulet that holds the enchantment Aoife placed on Liam and destroy it? Are Ethan's feelings for Allison strong enough to endure the magic of the Tuatha De Danaan?

Woah! I can't believe that it's been a few days shy of a year since I read the first book in this trilogy! The weird thing? I still remember what happened in it! I will admit that I did go back and re-read the last chapter of the first book to familiarize myself with it again, but the author does an amazing job at reminding you of everything that happened in the first book in this book, which is something I loved! The plot of this book continued straight on from where the first book stopped! It was all about the characters continuing their journey and about the main character learning more about the world she had been hidden from! I do have to say that there were still a lot of questions at the end of this book! None from the first book were really answered either! There's still one more book to come though, so I'm hoping all my questions will be answered! I did love the plot though and I also loved that there was some action in it too! The characters were again amazing and were developed so well! Allison was again the main character and in this book she knew what she was and she had started to learn how to use what she was to the best of her ability! I just loved Allison in this book! She was strong and she was determined to protect the people she cared about! She still had the same personality from the first book, but she was like a different person because she grew a lot! I loved everything about her in this book and I can't wait to see how she's going to develop in the next book! There was the glimmer of a love triangle in the first book and it sort of felt like it was still there at the beginning of this book, but then it sort of disappeared as Allison's relationship with one of the guys started to develop more! Just like the first book, the love triangle was between Allison, Ethan and Aodhan! I would have loved to have the love triangle be a major part of the plot, but I did love that Allison didn't play the guys against each other! Ethan was the main love interest of Allison and I did love him! I had such a soft spot for Aodhan though, but he wasn't in this book a lot! There were quite a few secondary characters in this book too! Some of them were from the first book, but there were a few new characters introduced too! All these characters added so much to the plot and I hope they make appearances in the next book! I'm so excited to read the last book in this trilogy! I can't wait to see how it's all going to end and what's going to happen! The ending of this book was a bit sudden though, which I wasn't expecting! It was almost like it ended mid-way through a conversation! The cover for this book is stunning! Absolutely stunning! I love how well it suits the first book's cover too! Big thank you to Laura for an ARC of Stone of Destiny and to Lady Amber's Tours for having me on the Blog Tour!

 Author bio:

Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings. Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn’t until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known. The Forgotten Ones is her first published novel.
