I was really excited when I read the synopsis of this book because I love books with a plane crash in them, so I requested an ARC of it! I also thought that this novella was a full length book when I first heard about it until I started reading and it took me one sitting to read lol! I really enjoyed this novella though! It was the start of the characters story and has left me very excited to find out what’s going to happen next! The main thing that happened in this novella was the plane that the characters were travelling in crashing on a deserted island! I think there's lots more to come as the plot progresses and secrets come out! There was also the start of some romance between the two main characters, so I can't wait to see that develop! The characters were also amazing and made this novella even better! June was the main female character, and in this novella she was heading on a plane journey to do photography! June was in danger in this novella through no fault of her own and it really was wrong place wrong time! I can't wait to find out more about her! Carter was the main male character and love interest of June! Carter was slightly grumpy in this novella, but he did warm up to June! There’s also a lot more to Carter’s story, which I know we’ll find out more about in the full length book! He's definitely hiding some secrets and I can't wait to find out what they are and find out more about Carter's background! I loved that this novella was written from both characters point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be before I started reading and after I read the synopsis! It helped me connect more with both characters and see how they felt about what they were going through! It didn't allow for more things to happen in the plot as the characters did spend pretty much all of it together lol! I now know that there’s a full length book coming out for June and Carter and that this novella started their journey off! Their full length book releases at the beginning of next month, which isn’t long of a wait at all! I can’t wait to read it when it releases and I’ll definitely be reading it as soon as it releases! I can't wait to check out the other sort of prequel books to this novella too! The cover for this novella is also absolutely perfect for it and I love it a lot! I can see how well it suits the novella now that I’ve read it and it would draw me to the novella if I hadn't heard of the authors before! Big thank you to Xpresso Book Tours for an ARC of The Crash!
