So what can I say about Aiden? He’s handsome, intelligent, and impossible in many ways:) He doesn’t believe in love, and though he can’t be called a womanizer, that’s exactly what women from his surroundings usually think he is. His relationships don’t last long. He hates giving promises, especially about the things he’s sure he will never be able to do. And the only thing he really cares about is his independence.
Aiden is a Scorpio, and it explains a lot about his nature. If you look at the surface, he will look totally calm and composed. Just look beneath that outer layer of his and you will find his smoldering passion. He loves to solve mysteries, and that’s one of those things that make him want to get to Megan’s every secret. He rarely changes his mind, and the first impression is very important for him. If you get his approval, he will do anything possible and impossible to win your heart.
Aiden owns a part of his family business, but we should give him credit for what he’s doing for the prosperity of his father’s company. Using his mother’s name is his way of making people believe in his ability to do business. He doesn’t want to be compared with his father, even though he respects everything that the man has done for him.
Meeting Megan changes everything about Aiden’s life. He suddenly realizes that being with someone is not always wrong and burdensome, and he finally finds a person who would be able to make him sacrifice his precious freedom. Not that he wants to admit it of course:) It takes him some time to understand that what he feels for Megan is nothing, but love. And the moment it happens, he gives up everything just to be by her side forever. Are his feelings mutual? Well, that’s what you will find out after reading the book:)
