Synopsis: Shannon MacLeod has always gone for the wrong type of man. After she drifted from one toxic relationship to the next, her last boyfriend gave her a wakeup call in the worst possible way. With her world shattered, she’s sworn off men—especially those of the bad-boy variety.
Cole Walker is exactly the sort that Shannon wants to avoid—gorgeous, tattooed, charming, and cocky. But his rough exterior hides a good man who’s ready to find “the one.” He’s determined to pull Shannon from her self-imposed solitude and win her heart.
As Shannon opens up in the face of Cole’s steady devotion, the passion between them ignites to blazing levels. But when Shannon’s past comes back to haunt her, her fears may destroy the trust Cole has built between them—and tear them apart for good…
I was so, so excited when the UK publisher emailed me about being on the UK Blog Tour for this book! I love this series and I always anticipate the next book's release! I was really excited about this book's release because it sounded absolutely amazing and the cover is stunning! So it's fair to say that I may or may not have squealed really loudly when I received my proof copy lol! It's also really hard to pick a favourite book from this series, but this one is definitely at the top, or near enough there! It was one amazing book! I loved the plot of this book! It held me attention as soon as I started reading it, and it held my attention even more as it progressed! It also developed brilliantly and there was a lot in it! There were also plenty of sexy scenes! The sexy scenes were so hot too! I just overall loved the plot and I zoomed through it because I couldn't put it down! It really was amazing and I found it had a bit of a different atmosphere to the other books plots, which I loved! The characters were just as amazing as the plot! Shannon was the main character and she had been through a lot before the events of this book! My heart went out to her when I heard her story! It explained a lot about why Shannon acted the way she did with her feelings towards her love interest, Cole, though! I just loved Shannon though! I liked that she had learned from what she had been through and she was careful with her feelings about Cole! It took quite a bit of persuading from Cole to get Shannon to start something with him, and that was definitely the right way to go! Shannon came a long way in this book though, and it was mostly with the help of Cole and his group of friends! Cole was the love interest of Shannon and he was so freaking hot! He may just be my favourite guy from this series! Cole also gave off this bad boy vibe, but he was really a sweet guy underneath it all! He was the kind of bad boy I love and I just loved Cole's personality too! He was also so sweet with Shannon and I could see how much he loved her! Cole had also been through a lot growing up, and my heart did go out to him! What he went through during his childhood made Cole the kind of guy he was, and what a guy! He really was an amazingly, intriguing character! I also loved that all the characters from the other books in this series were back in this book! They always add a lot to the story and it's always fun to see how far they have all come as couples and families! I can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's not going to be about Shannon and Cole and that it's going to be about Shannon's brother, Logan, but this makes me even more excited to read it! I can't wait to read his story! The UK cover for this book is so pretty! I have to admit that there's a little part of me that actually prefers the US cover, but I love how well the UK cover suits the other covers in the series! Big thank you to Piatkus from Little, Brown Book Group for sending me a proof copy of Echoes of Scotland Street and for having me on the UK Blog Tour!
