Blog Tour & Giveaways: #Player [Hashtag 03] by Cambria Hebert!

Publication date: 24th February 2015
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 5 stars
Synopsis:
Players gotta play.

Hate is like a poison. It contaminates everything.

So does doubt.

Even though I deny what I overheard, even though I insist it isn’t true, the seed of doubt has been planted. I can’t help but be tormented with the endless what-if’s that have taken over our lives.

Romeo and I were happy in love. The future stretched before us brighter than any star in the darkest sky. Now everything is broken. Literally broken. Romeo’s entire career is at stake, my entire future is threatened… and my past?

It’s coming back to haunt me.

To haunt us.

Romeo says we’re in this together and right now the only sure thing is us. But how far can a love so new be pushed? The lengths we will have to go to save each other puts everything at risk.

Romeo is a #player but how much of the game can one person play?

I was really excited about reading this book! The huge climax scene in the last book had me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next and how the characters were going to come to terms with everything! I freaking loved this book! There wasn't a lot of action and suspense in it like the last book, but it was more about the main characters coming to terms with the events of the last book and about them trying to move on! There was a bit of action and suspense though, which I liked! The plot was amazing! I had such a hard time putting it down and I read it in a few sittings! I was drawn right into it! The plot also went in a different direction to what I was expecting! I didn't really have any ideas as to where it could go though lol! I really enjoyed it nevertheless and it developed at the perfect pace! The ending was also so perfect and beautiful! The characters were again amazing! Rimmell was again the main female character, and I loved her in this book! She was so strong, even with so much going on around her and a lot of information being thrown at her! I think she handled it all brilliantly and she kept going and her strength really impressed me! My heart went out to Rimmell in this book as well! She finally discovered the truth behind her mother's death, and she didn't want to believe it, but inside she knew it was true! I could see how much this affected Rimmell and it changed her as the truth made her think a lot and she realised that she had been lied to for a lot of her life! Overall, I just loved her, and I love how confident she had become since the first book! Romeo was again the main male character, and he was seriously hot in this book... again lol! I just loved Romeo! He was again fiercely protective of Rimmell and the amount of love he had for her was so beautiful! I felt really sorry for him in this book too though! He went through a lot sport wise and emotionally, and I could see it all getting to him, but he always put Rimmell first and made sure she was okay! That made me have so much respect for Romeo! I just absolutely loved him, and he's definitely on my book boyfriend list lol! He'd also grown a lot since the first book and his growth made him into a better person! I also loved that this book was written from both Romeo and Rimmell's point of views! Getting to go inside both characters heads was definitely essential because of everything that happened in the plot! I can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's not going to be about Romeo and Rimmell and that it's going to be about a secondary character, Braeden, but this has made me even more excited for it! I'll definitely be reading it as soon as it releases! The cover for this book is perfect for it! It suits the other covers in the series perfectly, and the models on the front are the perfect Rimmell and Romeo! Big thank you to Cambria for an ARC of #Player and to Enticing Journey Book Promotions for having me on the Blog Tour!

Author bio:

Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.

Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).

Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: Text, Torch, Tryst, Masquerade, and Recalled.
