I was really excited, but really sad to read this book! Excited because it's another book by L.P. Dover and I absolutely love this series, and then sad because I knew that this book was the last book in the series! I also tried to take my time reading it, but I failed and read it in a few days lol! I loved this book! It was amazing and so hot! The plot was also amazing! There wasn't as much action and suspense in the plot as what there had been in some of the other books in the series, but there was enough to keep me interested and wanting to find out what was going to happen next! I also read the plot in a few sittings and was always reading a few chapters every chance I got! There were also quite a few hot scenes in the plot too, and they were seriously hot! The suspense in the plot was also very well done! It developed at the start and then developed slowly as the plot progressed and then it climaxed at the end! I really enjoyed it! The characters were also amazing! Megan was the main female character, and she really impressed me in this book! She had been through a really, really tough time and some horrible experiences! What she had been through had made her toughen up and become a stronger person! I felt really sorry for Megan for what she had been through! I loved her in this book as well though! She was such a genuine and nice person that she was really easy for me to connect with! She was also the first person to give her love interest a chance, which told me a lot about the kind of person she was! She taught her love interest a lot as well! Kyle was the main male character, and he was seriously hot, of course lol! When Kyle had made appearances in the other books in this series, I didn't like him, which is understandable, so he had a lot to prove in this book! Kyle definitely proved a lot in this book though! He was a totally different person and was really protective of Megan and he had come a long way! I was really impressed and happy for him! I just loved Kyle as well! I loved how he was fierce, but gentle at the same time and that he regretted what he did! I could also see that he would do anything to make sure that Megan was safe and out of danger! It was easy to see that he really loved her as well! I loved that this book was written from both Megan and Kyle's point of views! It made the book even better, and it made the plot better too, as you could follow two different storylines from the two characters! Getting to see Megan and Kyle's feelings for each other grow through both of their eyes was really beautiful too! I'm really sad that this book is the last book in this series! I've absolutely loved this series and I'm really sad to say to say goodbye to it! I can't wait to see what this author is going to release next though! The cover for this book is seriously hot!
