Synopsis: Engaged and happily in love, Allison Scott and Damien Wales are looking forward to joining their lives together as one. Coming from a mournful year after losing her parents, Allison is ready to heal and move on to the next chapter with the love of her life.
But Damien’s past continues to threaten their future. A man once obsessed with Damien’s sister is now after his one and only love, Allison. The woman who came before Allison is determined to captivate Damien’s heart. And Damien’s best friend is somehow playing a part in it all.
One is a murderer, and Damien and Allison discover they can trust no one but each other. When Damien’s history endangers Allison’s life, their relationship is pushed to its limits, and they must determine if their love can overcome any obstacle or if circumstances will force them apart.
I adored the first book in this series, so when the author asked me if I would like to beta read the second book, then I almost died! I was 100% honest in my review for Trust Me and said that I had a few minor problems with it, but Love Me was just a rollercoaster! I loved that the author actually took on board what I said and sorted the problem in this book as well! I said that words weren't abbreviated and that is my pet hate with a book! I find it distracting, but in this book most of it was abbreviated, which made me really happy! The plot of this book continued on from where Trust Me left off from! It was sexy, it was mysterious, it had a perfect ending! I loved the plot as it continued on Allison and Damien's relationship and it showed how far they had come as a couple and as individuals! The mystery aspect also comes to a close in this book and it was kind of who I was expecting it to be! I had my suspicions about this person, but I'm definitely not going to tell you much more than that, so that I don't spoil it! I loved the end scene though as it was so climatic and it was the scene that I had been waiting for! The characters were again amazing! I connected with them even more in this book! Allison was again the main female character and I have to say that I loved her even more in this book! She reacted the exact same way as I would have if I was placed in the same situation as her! I thought she handled it all brilliantly though! I loved how far she had come from the loss of her parents as well and I think that Damien was the main factor in that! Allison went through quite a lot at the end of this book, but she was able to bounce back from it a stronger person! Damien was again the main male character and I was actually going to say that I would have liked some of this book to have been written from Damien's point of view because he was such an intriguing character and a lot of the plot is focused on his past, so it would have been interesting to have been able to go inside his head, but then the author actually put extra scenes at the end from his point of view, which was seriously amazing! Again, he was still fiercely protective of Allison and was immensely hot in this book! I kinda preferred him in this book if I'm honest! I loved the little things he did for Allison and how he would give her the world if he could! The secondary characters also added so much to the story and I loved all of them! I will without a doubt be reading the next book in this series! I know that it's not going to be about Allison and Damien and instead it's going to be about another important character in this book, Sam, but I have been told from the author that Allison and Damien are going to be in the book a lot, which makes me really happy! Especially after what's revealed at the end of this book! I'm excited to find out what's going to happen in Sam's book! I read this book when it didn't have a cover, but the author gave me a general idea of what the cover was going to look like! I can say that the cover is... Big thank you to Kristin for asking me to beta-read Love Me and to Book Plug Promotions for having me on the Blog Tour!

Author bio:
Kristin Mayer is a wife, a proud mother, and a full-time Analyst and Import Manager. Since an early age, she has always enjoyed reading and writing. While visiting her father one weekend, he suggested that she should take up writing again. With family and a career, she didn’t give it a lot of thought, until a story entered her mind and wouldn’t leave. It just kept forming and developing over a couple of months.
At the beginning of 2013, she decided to sit down and write it all down, but she kept it to herself. One sentence developed into two, and before she knew it, she had the makings of a novel.
Kristin tries to live life to the fullest during every moment. She loves to travel and meet new people. She holds a degree in International Business and uses it daily in her job. Kristin now adds “author” on her list of jobs, and feels very blessed and thankful.
