I was a little worried when I signed up for this Blog Tour because I really wanted to review this book, but I hadn't read the first book in the series and I had no idea if it was based on the characters from this book! I had read the second book, which is a novella, that was based on secondary characters in this book though! I took the plunge though and read this book without having ever met Erin and Connor before, and I can say that I found it easy to understand and follow, even though I hadn't read been introduced to the characters before! The plot of this book was so sad, but it had some serious bright spots to it as well! I cried so much during it and actually had to put the book down to get my bearings! There was so much in the plot and so many sad things happened! The main sad thing that happened broke my heart! I don't think I've cried as much at a book in a while as what I did at this one! It completely broke me! The plot started out really happy and then turned dark and suspense started being added into it! I was so close to actually shouting at my Kindle to warn the main characters about the bad guy! I knew something big was going to happen in this book, but I didn't expect what did happen! It was amazing! The characters were amazing! Erin was the main female character and I emphasized with her so much! Emotionally, she went through so much in this book and I felt my heart break a little bit more every time she did! I saw her try and keep it together as well, but she couldn't and she went through the same emotions that I think any woman would if they went through what she did! Erin was such a strong character though and she proved this time and time again in this book! She was also such a lovely character with a genuine personality and I loved that about her! Connor was the main male character and he was the character that held it altogether in this book! He was always there for Erin and he always put her first, even though he was suffering too! I adored Conner! You just don't find guys like him! He was so loving and caring and he took such good care of Erin! I could see that he really loved her! He also worked so hard as well! He totally deserved a break lol! I loved that this book was written from both Erin and Connor's point of view as it was definitely essential with what goes on in the plot and it was definitely essential to go inside both of the main characters heads! I also loved that the two characters from the novella before this book, Adam and Sophia, were back in this book! I also loved that they played a big part in the plot! The ending of this book was so beautiful! It definitely did a fantastic job showing where all the characters ended up and how far they had come as couples and also individuals! I also loved that there were multiple epilogues for a few of the characters! The cover for this book is stunning! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! Big thank you to S. Moose for an ARC of Next to Forever and to ABWO Promos for having me on the Blog Tour!
