I'm always excited to read a new book from this author, but I was particularly excited about this book because of who the main characters were! Their story kind of started to develop in the last book which they were secondary characters in, so I couldn't wait to read their story! I then signed up for the Blog Tour, so I received an ARC to read! I freaking loved this book! It had suspense in it, action, and plenty of romance! I was completely enthralled by the first page and I had a hard time putting it down! I also read it in a few sittings! The plot was amazing! I loved everything about it! As I said, it was full of romance, action and suspense, which I loved! It also had plenty of seriously hot scenes in it too! I think the temperature in my room got hotter because of them lol! Overall, I absolutely loved the plot of this book and I had a seriously hard time outing it down as soon as I started reading! The characters were amazing! Gabriella 'Gabby' was the main female character and she was kick-ass in this book! I just loved her, and I loved that this book was about her finding love! She was a character that I loved in the books she was a secondary character in, and I couldn't wait to read her story! Gabby definitely impressed me in this book! She was so fierce and she didn't panic about the situation she was in! She took control of it and she did some dangerous things to protect the people she cared about! I just loved her and she blew me away in this book! I really hope she's in the next book so that I can see how her relationship with her love interest has developed! Paxton was the main male character and he was seriously hot! I just loved Paxton! He was everything I love in a guy, and I also loved that he regretted what he did in the past and that he was trying to make up for it! He was also super protective of Gabby, and I could see how far he would go to protect her and make sure she was safe! He even did something in this book that showed how far he would go to protect Gabby and make sure that she was safe! Paxton was just an amazing guy, and he was seriously hot with Gabby! They may just be my favourite couple from this series, which is hard because all the couples in this series are amazing lol! I loved that this book was written from both Paxton and Gabby's point of views! It really helped me connect more with the two of them and I loved getting to see their relationship develop through both of their eyes! I can't wait to read the next book in this series! The character that it's going to be about is the most intriguing character in this series in my opinion, so I can't wait to read his story! The cover for this book is absolutely perfect for it! I'm so happy there's a couple on it because the other covers in the series have hot guys on them lol! The models are also the perfect Gabby and Paxton! Big thank you to L.P.
