Blog Tour & Giveaway: Under a Painted Sky [Spirit Warriors 01] by Jenna Roads!

Hey guys! I have here an interview which I did with the lovely author, Jenna Roads! Enjoy and don't forget to enter the giveaways!

Is there anything you'd love to tell us about yourself?

First, I would like to tell everyone how thrilled I am to be here and to thank everyone for stopping by today.
I love to write, travel and scrapbook and I can't live without music.

For the readers out there that haven't read your book could you tell us a quick bit about it please?

I would love to tell them. My book is about a girl named Isabella who is 21 yrs. old. She was married for a very short time and her husband divorced her.
She gets the chance to move away from the disgrace of it all to New Mexico where she meets  and falls for this handsome tour guide named Logan.
While showing her around the Petroglyphs there she encounters something paranormal that sends her life into a downward spiral. Logan vows to protect her with his life and the story is about how it all went down and the blossoming love of Isabella and Logan.

How did you come up with the idea to write Under A Painted Sky?

I wanted to write something different besides vampire, werewolves or apocalyptic. I think all of those are great. I just wanted to be different.
So, I thought about the beauty of New Mexico and how that would be a great setting. That got me to thinking about aliens because of Roswell New Mexico but still I wanted something different and paranormal. I thought about all of the places I had been there and then came up with The Petroglyphs and that was the perfect setting for paranormal and it bloomed from there.

What would you say was your biggest difficulty while writing Under A Painted Sky?

I guess it would have to be distractions especially social media.

Do you have a favorite quote from the book?

My favorite will be the one that is chanted back to me by my readers. Here is a very simple and powerful one:
"Logan gave me a sultry kiss that should have fogged the windows."

How long did Under A Painted Sky take you to write?

4 months.

What book are you currently writing and could you maybe tell us a little bit about that book please!

I am writing book two in the spirit warrior series called 'Through The Eyes Of Love'
The love between Isabella and Logan intensifies. Isabella, Logan and Cheveyo unite in their quest to seek out others who have become prisoners of fear after visiting the Petroglyphs.
They become captivated by a little boy. Having to see things through the eyes of a child changes everything. Will they unveil the clandestine significance of the spirit who chose the child in time?

Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans/readers?

Yes, I just want to thank everyone for supporting me because it means the world to me. You are the greatest!

Isabella Reed is a fast-track twenty one year old from a small Florida town. She flees to the Land of Enchantment, Albuquerque, NM, where the beautiful painted skies go on forever and hold hope for a fresh start.
She meets Logan Hayes, a sexy guide who has been hired to show her all the sights of her new city. He shows her much more than that. Something Paranormal happens to Isabella that she is unaware of when touring the Petroglyphs and her life takes a downward spiral into a supernatural captivity that no one will believe except for Logan. He vows to protect her with his life after seeing for himself.
