So Jennifer is there anything that you would like to tell us about yourself?

I am a pretty straight-forward girl. I love my furbabies, my husband and all my beautiful tattoos. I have a tendency to say what is on my mind without much of a filter but if I actually mean to insult you, you will know the difference. But really, I am a nice person. Only like 3 people ever have made me mad.

How long have you been a blogger?

I started blogging back in August and I have not been able to get enough since then. I love all of the friends I have made J

Is there something that has always interested you?

OK, so weird… I know…. but dead bodies. LOL. Not in a creepy way but in a why are they dead? What do your insides really look like… scientific kinda way…

How did you come up with the name for your blog?

I wanted people to know what they were getting into by the title alone and I love alliteration, so Books – obviously, Brownies – I have an inner fat girl that loves them and I am always looking for more recipes for myself and my friends, Barkers – My furbabies duh! They do way too much hilarious stuff not to share with the world J

What is your favorite thing about being a blogger?

I love everyone I have discovered and become friends with. Its like a close nit circle of friends you get to hang out with all the time and you never have to leave your PJ’s. I also love being able to spread the word about all the amazing authors we find. I’d shout it from the roof but my neighbors already think I’m weird.

How often do you blog?

Funny thing actually. When I started blogging I thought I would have like 1-2 posts a week and now that I am into it, I usually post at least 1 a day whether it is for a tour or a review. I just can’t stop talking about books! It’s great to be able to do it and have my voice heard.

Who designed your background for your blog? 

The amazing Natasha Brown is responsible for the rockin new blog layout. She did a fantastic job and I cannot tout her praises enough.

What is the name of the book you most recently blogged about?

That is already posted… Eternal Hope J but I am writing a blog post right now and that one will be a review of The Bondlings… awesome book about wizards, elves and magic.

How do you promote your blog?

I usually use word of mouth and facebook to promote my blog but I do have business cards that I tend to hand out to anyone I see with a book in their hand… Sometimes it works and sometimes people look at me funny but I don’t care I am doing what I love and that is all that matters J

Is there anything that you would like to say to your readers?

Thank you!!!! Huge, massive, sparkly balls of Thank you. If it weren’t for my readers I would be talking to myself and that is kind of frowned upon in society J
