Blog Tour & Giveaway: Exhale by Jennifer Snyder!

Publication date: 2nd December 2012
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 5 stars
Synopsis: Inhaling in life is easy. It’s the exhaling—the letting go— that’s the hard part.

Katie Elliot has always known the Conner twins. For years she secretly pined after one, while playfully averting the advances of the other. Once upon a time, she was fine with that. Then came the moment when her twin of preference kissed her and changed everything.

As if realizing love can be complex—even when it’s reciprocated— isn't hard enough, tragedy strikes, tearing Katie and the boy she’s always desired apart. Finding herself torn between love and guilt, Katie must learn when it’s acceptable to let go—when it’s finally okay to exhale.

Favourite quote: "It was finally time for me to exhale - it was time for me to let go."

I thought that I knew what to expect with this book after I read the synopsis as I thought that this book was going to have one of those love triangle's that makes you want to tear your hair out but this book was so much more than that! It was a story of love, regret and grief and it was told amazingly! The plot of this book was completely unexpected but it was told perfectly! I wasn't expecting what happened at all so I was very surprised with the direction that the book went in! I have to say though that the pace of this book was very fast! I would have loved for it to have went a bit slower to allow the relationships and the characters emotions to develop more than what the did! The characters were so easy to relate to though! Katie was a character who I connected with instantly and I could really feel her emotions change throughout this book! I felt so sorry for her for what she went through during this book as well! Derek and Kyle were the love interests of Katie and of course one was the nice twin and the other was the bad twin! The twins were both so different to each other but they both had feelings for Katie and they never acted on those feelings until one twin did and then tragedy struck which set everything in motion and made relationships turn fragile! The ending was perfect! It was amazing to see Katie let go and move on especially after what she went through during the course of this book! The title for this book suits it perfectly and the cover is beautiful! Big thank you to Supagurl for letting me be on the Blog Tour!
