Review: Existence [Existence 01] by Abbi Glines!

Publication date: 13th December 2011
Paperback edition: 194 pages
Source: Kindle
Rating: 5 stars
Synopsis: What happens when you're stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course.

Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.

Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.

Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.

He is Death and he's about to break all the rules. - goodreads.com
Favourite Quote: “You proved to be worthy of my devotion. Of Death’s...love”

I loved this book so much but it was shorter than I would have liked but it left me begging for more which is a good thing. I loved the characters though and I thought that they were great and funny! Pagan Moore is the main character and I really liked her! I thought that she was nice and determined. Dank Walker is the sexy love interest of Pagan and he was honestly so sweet and protective of Pagan. Leif Montgomery is Pagan's boyfriend and I liked him but I was always Team Dank! Miranda and Wyatt are Pagan's best friends and I was actually rooting for them as they belonged together! I loved it when Gee got introduced as she was funny and very sarcastic. I thought that Existence was very original and it was refreshing to read and I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed the characters, the plot and also the writing. This book was worth the read but it got a bit weird at some points like when Pagan went to the rehabilitation centre. The ending of Existence was great and full of suspense. It left me begging for more and I could not put it down! After reading Existence I cannot wait until the next book and to continue Dank and Pagan's story. This was my first Abbi Glines book and now I have read every single one of her books! She is now one of my favourite authors! I also love the cover as Pepe and Sztella are on it!
